Following on the heels of today’s earlier trailer released on television in Japan, more information has been revealed in a new English trailer.
Details
- Player will be able to traverse an Ultra Wormhole on the back of Solgaleo or Lunala in a mini-game of sorts
- You’ll be able to battle Ultra Beasts at their home dimension/space by traveling through the Ultra Space
- Ultra Megalopolis (pictured right), can be reached by traveling through the Ultra Space and has had all of its light stolen by Necrozma
- New characters are part of the Ultra Recon Squad and have had their names revealed as Dulse, Zossie, Phyco and Soliera – the latter two will have major roles in Ultra Moon, while the former two are more prominent in Ultra Sun
- Player is seen battling members of the Squad
- A new Ultra Beast, UB: Adhesive (Poison Pin Pokémon), has been discovered. It’s a Poison-type with the ability Beast Boost
- UB: Burst (Fireworks Pokémon) is Fire/Ghost-type and knows a new move “Mind Blown” which causes it to lose half its maximum HP
- UB: Assembly (Rampart Pokémon) is Rock/Steel-type

This’s awesome …I like the new UB…..and I like how UB’s have their homes and while Necrozma have his own …..he is officially UB.
All of these UBs are going to have unique names which haven’t been revealed yet…I’m interested to see what they are.

I find this little guy adorable.
I’m reminded so much of Elgyem and Beheeyem (a couple of my favorite Pokémon). This guy will grow on me quickly.

Riding on the back of Solgaleo and Lunala and the Ultra Megalopolis really reminded me of the upgraded gummi ship and Memory Skyscraper from KH2. This game is definitely like BW2 with completely new locations, trainers, and revamped storyline

Really though, a new team, some really nice looking areas, completely revamped story, new pokemon, all usum really needs is a good post game facility right now.
Plat and emerald were significantly better than rs ans dp, these look to be even bigger improvements.

Could be that Hoopa can’t open holes to other Universes and UBs can only open them to Ultra Space.
Just noticed the player is wearing a suit very similar to those of the Ultra Recon Squad lol
And oddly no mouthpiece or helmet which could mean ultra space has oxygen or a chemical compound extremely similar to oxygen

So the wormhole space is just a dimensional hub of different ecosystems that might accommodate whichever ultra beast species originates, just so fascinating I could only imagine what Guzzlord’s space would be
I just see a vast broken asteroid belt since Guzzlord are constantly eating away the entire realm so much that there’s barely anything left

lol im almost positive i posted here when they announced burst that it wouldnt get obvious typing. Fire/Ghost is very interesting. Also, i actually like the design of adhesive. also that tree like area in the game reminded me of fortree which sorta made me excited
I’m so hype for these games now! I love alien themed pokemon so this little guy has definitely struck a cord with me, might even have him on my team depending on whe he’s available. Also i love the fact that you can battle Ultra Beast in Ultra space i think it really drives home the fact that they are pretty much common pokemon where they come from however terrifyingly powerful they may be which makes me wonder just think how powerful a legendary ultra beast would be!
Well since ultra beasts are legendary there isn’t much to think about
To us they are but where they come from they seem to be common place so I was thinking about looking at it from a different perspective.

i think i disagree. adhesive has the mythical pokemon vibe as in mew, celebi, jirachi, etc. and also i think its the best design of all the ubs so far, nihilego i do like cuz i always picture it as being made of glass

then define memorable for me. you say you have a hard time visualizing it but if you like the design saying that every other aspect of its design is appealing then what is so un memorable? what im saying is, it have a good design compared to all the other UBs and therefore it sticks out; the Ultra Beast (which is a classification itself thats different from regular pokemon) that has the best design.
If you showed it to a 5 year old gen asked them to draw it without keeping it as reference, they would have a very hard time remembering it.
When you actually look at it, it’s appealing. But I’ve had a really hard time all day recalling what it looks like and having to look at a picture again. If the design was memorable it would instantly stick in my mind. Maybe I would miss details but I have the idea of it.
But with this design I only remember the color and like… the eyes
honestly the only way i see i can respond to this is simply the fact that its a brand new pokemon introduced today. also its a very simple looking pokemon imo. has the head of elegym it seems, and the body shape screams mew to me. but really thats it.

oh i have to say that i was proven wrong. idk if they will still be post game catchable pokemon but more presence of ubs is pretty interesting, people using them for battle. its cool that they will play a part in the story considering after nihilego was part of the story, phero and buzz were like thrown in last minute of the story
