Top 5 Suggestions for Stardew Valley Switch Lovers

Stardew Valley is an indie farming simulation RPG that was released on PC in February 2016 and then ported for everything but Nintendo…until today. As of October 5, 2017, you can now download it off the Nintendo Switch eShop, and for just $14.99. In Stardew Valley “Switch” (it’s the same game), you just inherited your grandpa’s huge yet messy farm plot in a place called – you guessed it – Stardew Valley, as well as his dirty, worn-out tools and some pocket change (thanks a lot, Gramps). So you leave your cushy office job to live the life of a farmer, but there’s way, way more than just tending to your farm and making bank; you find yourself mining and crafting, flirting with the locals to get married, even fighting monsters such as mummies and things called “Shadow Shamans.” It’s totally up to you and the possibilities are near endless.

This game is a great entry into the world of farming sims and Stardew Valley may just leave you wanting to till other fertile fields on your Nintendo consoles; here are a list of the top 5 not-to-be-missed series for beginning farmhands!

Harvest Moon

The original farming simulator by Natsume! Stardew Valley’s creators were actually inspired by the Harvest Moon series. It all started in 1997 with Harvest Moon for the SNES but the series took an unfortunate downward spiral after Magical Melody dropped for the GameCube in 2006. Have no fear though, I’m here to point you in the right direction when it comes to which Harvest Moon titles to give a shot:

  • Harvest Moon 64 (1999, Nintendo 64)
  • Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town (2003, Game Boy Advance, 2015, Wii U)
  • Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (2003, GameCube)
  • Harvest Moon: Magical Melody (2006, GameCube, 2009, Wii)

These games offer you a great combination of farming, customization and role-playing. And if you’re looking for an updated version, check out Harvest Moon 3D: A New Beginning on the Nintendo 3DS (2012). It’s pretty decent for a modern Harvest Moon. But whatever you do, do NOT bother with Harvest Moon: Light of Hope which came out this past summer (2017) for the Nintendo Switch. It’s dreadful.

Story of Seasons

The Story of Seasons series is the continuation of the Harvest Moon series under a different name due to getting acquired by Marvelous Inc. (formerly Natsume) and then localized by their American publishing brand XSEED Games. It’s a good thing the games are still being brought to the West, because both existing titles, Story of Seasons (2015) and Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns (2017), for the Nintendo 3DS are a joy to play. This series is basically a prettier-looking, smoother (though less traditional) Harvest Moon experience, which is similar to Stardew Valley, with the ultimate goal of working with your fellow farmers to make your town famous.

And if you like Story of Seasons, get hyped because XSEED Games announced they are big fans of the Nintendo Switch and will be developing their upcoming games for it.

Fantasy Life

Now, if you’ve taken a liking to the combat side of Stardew Valley more than the farming side, then do I have a game for you: Fantasy Life (2014) by Level-5 on the Nintendo 3DS. You choose from one of twelve “Lifes” (classes): Alchemist, Angler, Blacksmith, Carpenter, Cook, Hunter, Magician, Mercenary, Miner, Paladin, Tailor or Woodcutter, and then set out on a quest to either save the kingdom or just build a successful life for yourself, or both. The combat, crafting, exploring, customization, building, etc. are all simple and fun. Similarly to Stardew Valley, the choice is yours every step of the way and don’t worry, you can change your Life whenever (as long as you’re not in the middle of a quest!)

P.S. Fantasy Life Online, the sequel, is coming soon.

Rune Factory

Marvelous, Natsume and XSEED Games are behind the Rune Factory series, described by one of the producers as the “Harvest Moon where you wield a sword.” It all started with Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon (yes, it’s actually called that) in 2007 on the Nintendo 3DS. You farm it up, craft it up and build up relationships with the other villagers as you do in Stardew Valley but the game mainly focuses on the action part – delving through dungeons and fighting anything that looks at you the wrong way. And instead of purchasing livestock you befriend monsters in dungeons. Cool, right?

If you’re intrigued, all the titles are good but Rune Factory 4 (2013) on the Nintendo 3DS is the newest and is a total banger. Unfortunately it is currently unknown whether the series will ever see additional development.

Terraria

Last but not least, Terraria. This 2D sandbox developed by Re-Logic came out of nowhere in 2011 on PC and made serious waves before hitting the Nintendo 3DS in 2015, then the Wii U in 2016. It’s like the lovechild of Minecraft and Metroid. You start off in a freshly generated world with basic tools and then go crazy. There’s caves with minerals to extract, materials to build an empire out of, vendors to attract and fill your empire with, different biomes to explore and awesome equipment and insane weapons to craft or find and then use to demolish loads of monsters (including bosses) coming your way. It takes the endless possibilities of Stardew Valley and kind of multiplies it by infinity for countless hours of fun.

And if you’re too busy with Stardew Valley Switch or the other great games in this list, there’s no harm in waiting it out because 505 Games (the publisher) announced in February 2017 that Terraria is coming to the Nintendo Switch real soon.

So, back to playing some more Stardew Valley Switch? Or, will you be taking a swing (with your sickle, because farming) at one of the great titles on this list?

  1. Definitely gonna pick up Stardew Valley at some point. Was waiting for it to come to the Switch first. Feels like a game I’d want to play on the go rather than something that’s tethered to my tv.

  7. Man I just saw Pikashunium Z move and reminds me why I love Z moves. The animations of everything looks so good. It just gives more life in the game for me. Megas are cool and probably have more affect on everyone, but they seemed really lifeless. These Z moves (especially the unique ones) are just amazing to witness the trainers interact with the Pokemon. Both beings creating mass amounts of energy through dancing to form a really powered up version of a move! Such a great addition. I’m gonna miss signature z moves after gen 7 is done.

  12. How could we forget these two games:

Animal Crossing: New Leal – Similar because it has the same relaxing nature, where you can do nothing really wrong whatever you do, with also a goal of collecting a ton of stuff and just improving your town.

Farming Simulator – If farming is your thing but you hate having to use the hoe all the time, this game is for you! Plow very large fields, drive around with over hundreds possible tractors, use all advanced machinery there is in the world! Has features such as 360 crop rotation, augmented plows and more!

  14. so the URS has UB Adhesive. I wonder if that means they’ll own any other UBs. What does that mean for the UBs? Maybe they’re more available? I think it’d be cool to see them use the UBs as normal Pokemon and in every day battles lol

    Reply
    • The first battle that is showcased showed that Dulse or Soliera having just UB Sticky. I would expect their partner to have a different UB. Thus, I only expect that we will se two new UB from the squad specifically. There could be more UB outside of the squad and what has been revealed but we shall see. I also think as the game progresses, since they have entered our world, they will catch ordinary Pokémon to add to their team (so it won’t be our team fighting against one legendary level Pokémon).

  16. When I get a switch I’m definitely buying some of these games. They remind me of a final fantasy game I use to play on the Wii, where you were the king of a small town and you had to build it up as well as a few of your adventurer’ s and send them into dungeons. Dang I really love that game and I hope they bring it back… does anyone here remember it?

    Reply
  17. I think it’s safe to assume that the new UB is not native of Megalopolis because they used UB balls to catch it and those only work with pokemon who have gone into an ultra wormhole.
But, if that’s a world like ours, isn’t it possible for them to have actual pokemon native to Megalopolis??
Maybe this is how they’re going to introduce new “Alola” Forms, making them Megalopolis Forms and maybe this is why we have not seen one yet, because they had to introduce all the URS and Megalopolis thing…
What do you think? Is it possible or ours is the best of possible worlds so we have 800+ more pokemon and other worlds have just one?

  18. Speaking of favorites, one reason I love alola it released many of my favorites.
    Oricorio best birb
    Vikavolt best bug
    Crabominable best fighter
    Solgaleo best psychic
So many of the Pokemon were just amazing. Its an amazing bounce back since kalos introduced almost no favorites of mine.

Which region introduced the most of your favorites? What about region introduced the least amount?

  21. So from how the trailer described it, the Megaopolis wasn’t always devoid of light, Necrozma won the battle and took it all. So picture you arrive and you’re exploring than suddenly
    WOOSH
This dark single colored manetric leaps out from behind you (I said Manetric cause it kinda fits). Its very much alive but it has an almost lifeless look. It attacks you with its normal electric attacks before suddenly letting lose a burst of flame due to an adaptation that it acquired in order to withstand the new cold world that lacks light.
These Pokemon are like the ones in the normal world, but they’ve lost their light

    Fire/Flying
Rocket Launch: increases speed by one stage with every fire move used
Parrockeet are trigger happy Pokemon with volatile tempers. They usually are incredibly happy and tend to enjoy life ecstatically but can be dangerously enraged.

    Pithadrake: Dragon Fruit Pokemon
    Grass/Dragon
Tropicality: Immune to ice type moves
Pithadrake uses it’s several layers of skin to generate an ever-tropical environment around it to help it maintain optimum growth conditions

    Swordory
    Water/Fighting
    Steelworker
Swordory upon evolving stop swimming in schools and instead prefer to hunt alone. They attack their prey with their sword like protrusion that is said to be as hard as steel.

I couldn’t make the first and second stages

    • Buy a lot of seeds, cauliflower is the best paying one but takes 12 days so don’t plant those after the 15th of spring (you will lose all crops in summer). Make sure you have a small field full of crops all the time, don’t buy anything else in the beginning. On some days just water them, and go out foraging (picking up crops), building the community center, and level up fishing. Be sure to gather some wood and repair the bridge on the beach. Just use up your energy cutting down trees right before you go to sleep. Don’t take animals at first because they cost a lot of hay and need care, work for the silo first. When nothing really to do, just go into the mines, although those are better in winter (not a lot of crops to harvest).

First thing to buy once you have over 4K of money is the bigger backpack, it is really needed to advance a lot faster.

      Reply
      • ok i think i just wasted a sh*t load on the caliuflower after the 15th and i already fixed that bridge and got the bigger backpack
i just don’t like not knowing how to do things or have a routine
i think i’m just going to fish and buy seeds and just keep scraping until i figure out how to get the silo

    • First off, you have plenty of time so don’t worry. A lot of people reset after learning everything or they just spend their first year fucking around.

      No rush

I’d focus on getting materials so you can build sprinklers to somewhat automate your farm so you can spend less time on the farm. If you want more money, go into the mines. That’s something you can do basically any day you want and you always end up with rocks you will need for crafting and gems you can sell for cash

      Reply
    • What I would definitely suggest is trying to get the greenhouse from the community center so you can grow crops during winter. What you need to do is complete the spring foraging bundle, which is really easy. Just donate a dandelion, a wild horseradish, a daffodil, and a leek. And then you’ll open the option to get the greenhouse. Then donate a parsnip, a potato, a greenbeen, and a cauliflower and bam you got the greenhouse. Be careful because you can only grown those 4 crops during the spring so you won’t be able to get the greenhouse until next spring if you wait too long

  35. Using Great Force in Superstar Saga is so much fun, I don’t think I ever tried it out in the past. It doubles damage, both given and taken, meaning battles are more challenging. I definitely recommend using it if you’ve played the game to death like I have.

  37. I’m gonna be pretty pissed if the apricorn balls aren’t widely available in USUM. How crazy would it be though if, by help of the ultra wormholes, we could travel to certain parts of each region in the post game? Like we could take one to Azalea town for apricorn balls, Hoenn battle frontier, etc.

        • Unfortunately there wasn’t much they could really do with the story to make it good without deviating from it being a remake. I will give you the level curve, that’s just unacceptable.

          Reply
          • They could be made dialogue changes and stuff that didn’t totally change the whole game? At least anything to give any character in that game decent characterisation at all would’ve helped a lot

          • I think the dialogue was fine enough, what they needed was for Team Rocket to have a cohesive plan, which isn’t something you could change in a remake. Why are they at the slowpoke well or terrorizing the kimono girls if they’re really trying to contact Giovanni…? You could maybe make the argument that “they’re no longer organized without Giovanni,” but I think that’s lazy. This is why Gen 2 is MASSIVELY overrated by the pokemon community, imo, especially the pokemon introduced. Take away the gen 4 evolutions for them and it’s basically a straight crap generation

        • The fact that they never changed the story in the past 3 remakes makes me really worried that they won’t change anything in DP’s story

          Reply
          • They Don’t Change the story, they append something to the end of it, Like the Sevii Islands and Delta Episode. and they did do minor changes in ORAS and completely redesigned the Admins.

          • Eh, I don’t really want the plot to be completely changed, just redo some things to make it work better like extra dialogue or something like that. But I can see them focusing on other things that need more focusing

And since when did ports change the story? they’re just a game being available to play in another console iirc

    • The heart I can see “It will reveal itself before a pure-hearted trainer by shining its bright rainbow-colored wings” – Ho-oh dex

And Soul maybe so it can be a counterpart? idk

Or maybe it has something to do with Japanese mythology or religion like buddhism cuz the games legends have some sort of old Japanese vibes around them

  47. Huge wall about my Fakemon game (lol, talk about a throwback to all the fakemon spam)

Haven’t seen anyone else share their rivals yet :0

    Violetta (‘Violet’, from Ultraviolet)

A quiet, yet abrasive sixteen year old girl. Even under the golden sun of Illiux, she retains her deathly parlour. She dresses in a very punk/goth sort of way, with long hair shaved on one side and her lips a shade of nocturnal violet.

She was once your bubbly, girly-girl friend as a child, but moved away to the Kalos region with her father and stepmother. When she came back to Illiux to start her journey, she had completely changed. She prefers using Pokémon that look weird or intimidating.

In Ultraviolet, Violetta plays a much more major role, as you end up spending more time with her during a fateful event. She spontaneously chooses the starter Pokémon strong against yours, unsure about such an important choice.

In Infrared, she is still a major character, but not as important as yourself or Alfredo. She just happens to decide upon the starter weak to yours in this version. She’s also a bit more abrasive towards Alfredo in this version.

    Alfredo (Red, from Infrared)

A bright, bubbly brainiac who can sometimes come across as a bit cocky. He wears bright colours such as white and red, contrasting Violetta to a t – even their skin colours contrast!

Alfredo was also your friend as a child, moving from Kalos with his parents at a very young age. He’s pretty much never changed, which may be a source of insecurity for him. He prefers using slick and cool looking Pokémon.

In Infrared, Alfredo is key to the story, and fate has deigned that your relationship shall develop even further. He wisely chooses the starter Pokémon strong against yours.

In Ultraviolet, his role is reversed with Violetta, taking a step back as events unfold. He chooses the starter weak to yours to give himself a challenge. He’s also cheekier towards Violetta in this version.

    Royce/Roy (‘ROY’GBIV)

Another one of your childhood friends. He loves Pokémon and all their aspects – research, battle, care. Unlike Alfredo, he’s quite self assured and snobby, but he has a heart of gold. He tends to wear warm tones such as reds, oranges, and yellows.

Royce was once a member of your five man band as a kid, but eventually drifted away when he became much more argumentative around the age of 11, due to issues at home. He entered a somewhat dark time in his life, especially after losing his best friend Violetta due to her moving away. He later applied to assist the Pokémon Professor, but was put up against his old friend Beverly. In both versions, Royce enjoys using majestic looking Pokémon.

In Ultraviolet, Beverly was chosen over him. This caused him to feel worthless and caused him to join Prisma as soon he was offered to in order to feel wanted. At his most vulnerable, he was groomed by the association, and is now pitted against the player and Violetta in a battle of beliefs.

In Infrared, he was the one chosen for the assistant position. This led to him feeling achieved in life and recovering from that dark place. As you’re less focused on your relationship with Violetta in Infrared, they reconcile quite early into the game and he takes the role of Violetta’s main rival, but he’ll still occasionally battle you if you come across one another.

    Beverly/Bev (ROYG’BIV’)

Beverly was the last member of your childhood friend group. She’s kind and caring, but can come off as condescending and overbearing. A fashion forward girly girl, she adorns herself with colder colours such as blue, indigo, and violet.

Beverly was pulled away from your group of friends by her overbearing family, who saw them as nothing but a distraction for their darling daughter. Hoping that a job would allow her to be more independent, she applies for the role of Professor’s assistant, but finds herself face to face with her old friend Royce. In both versions, Beverly likes to use Pokémon that she finds cute.

In Infrared, she was looked over for Royce. Desperate for any reprieve from her family high hopes and without her best friend Alfredo to vent to, she joined Prisma as soon as possible. They instilled their beliefs in her, which combined with her condescending nature causes her to try and impose her beliefs on the player and Alfredo.

In Ultraviolet, Beverly successfully gained the position. This caused her family to give her a little breathing space, and even though she’s still somewhat overbearing scolding from the Professor has helped her to realise her flaws. As Alfredo is not as occupied as he is in Infrared, the two of them reform their friendship and develop a friendly rivalry. She’ll still battle you, but openly admits you’re not as fun to battle as Alfredo is.

All better handled than the XY bunch of course ?

    • I was about to say that having a lot of developed rival characters in Pokemon could be a problem but by making some less important in some versions is a really creative way to solve that problem 😮

And I like how they’re different depending on their versions, that’s certainly unique

      Reply
      • Yeeee

They’re all hopefully developed (at least better than XY) because Royce and Beverly take the role as assistant to the Professor and Evil Team Leader’s right hand depending on the version, so that’s one less character to develop and gives them more time/focus

Whereas Violetta and Alfredo are like a battleable Lillie/starts off friendly N or a Hau/Bianca like rival depending on the version

    • I don’t really like the name Alfredo. Reminds me too much of the sauce. Maybe just Alfred?
My game doesn’t really have rivals. I guess there’s one, but I don’t really have much written about her yet. I’ve got a good idea of who I want her to be though, and what will happen to her in the story.

    • Loved the idea of a friend group when we see the xy trailers, and this looks like a way better version of that. But i have to agree with Nintendochip, Alfredo is a bad name.

    Pelipper (Water/Flying)
    Wishiwashi (Water)
    Slavian Lumineon (Fairy/Water)

Florchid is a tiny hippie girl with a grass skirt body (no legs) and a sunflower shaped head pigtails and a crown of flowers on its head, they produce a “ultra positive” aroma from their petals but they make you sick if you over use it

And finally Flormonious which is a extremely powerful Grass/Psyich type, a tall maiden of flora with a flowing mane of flowers vines and nature. They feel nature on a spiritual and physical level they feel pain if the land is mistreated and will punish those who commit the act (usually by entangling them with vines and leaving them bound in place as the vines siphon their energy back to the land

    Typhlosion Lv. 53
    Wigglytuff Lv. 52
    Heracross Lv. 52
    Lanturn Lv. 52
    Jynx Lv. 52
    Donphan Lv. 52

I am worried that I am too underleveled to take Red on.

I am guessing right now that:
    Donphan can take out Pikachu
    Lanturn cto Blastoise (?)
    Jynx/Typhlosion cto Venasaur
    Lanturn/Wigglytuff/Donphan cto Charizard
Espeon and Snorlax are up in the air.

Should I grind or should I go now?

Lanturn is one of my favorite johto pokemon cuz i used it competitively and just love it but totodile was my pick and it really threw things off. also ampharos is doing really well. It bothers me that there are a few water types in Johto that i love and really wanted to use such as Lanturn Kingdra and Quagsire

I can also lend you a French Ditto I got in a trade (though I’m almost 100% sure it’s hacked) and a Male Japanese Skitty (that you’d need to evolve to use otherwise it might pass its’ Pokeball) if you want to try Masuda Method breeding it yourself. You might want Shiny charm first and look up videos on Magikarp Method, also how to reject eggs to re-roll gender etc.

Ive been patiently waiting for skarmory, found out i cant get celebi with the glitch till much later, and my starter threw out a lot of options for me cuz there are a bunch of water types i wouldve loved to use. i knew i shouldve just made a team based on pokemon i liked using competitively such as Lanturn skarmory donphan maybe Miltank my starter and maybe had fun with a qwilfish or gligar. oh well ill see how the rest of my run goes i guess. • I actually have to agree here tbh, the areas Clefairy inhabit are secluded enough it seemingly doesn’t have much competition (like what happened with Alolan Vulpix), and Mount Hokulani doesn’t have anything around it that particularly threatens Clefairy’s way of life (like Alolans Sandshrew).

And it’s not as popular to warrant an Alola Form as Raichu, nor is it domesticated in universe enough to warrant an adaption that way

      • Maybe originally Clefable landed in Alola, and as they traveled to other regions they changed, so Alolan Clefable is Fairy/Psychic and more Cosmic

    • Just from the ones I know so far, he’d probably use

      Fire Hare Starter (Fire)
      Swingler (Dark/Flying)
      Hundeuxtrois (Fairy/Dark)

      Reply
      • Fire Starter he’d meet when it tries to race Pikachu, and as Ash would be super impressed with its speed he’d capture it. Starter agrees because it wants to train and become faster than Pikachu.

Swingler steals Ash’s Pokédex in its first form (Chactac) and its pretty much just Ash catching it to get his Dex back

Hundeuxtrois was used by an evil team member but Ash looked after it once it was released and helped it become less aggressive and more trusting

        • Ooo I can explain mine too
-Chichee: Early Regional Bird capture, but he does manage to help out it family a bit in the episode by collecting foods when the mama bird is sick.
-Razoon: Ash discovers that a wild Razoon has been stealing food and other resources from all across the city and Ash and his friends track it down till they discover its only stealing to feed a small group of young Wild Pokémon that can’t fend for themselves and after a bit of time passes and Pokémon are left with Nurse Joy. Razoon decides to join Ash due to his passion and Spirit.
-Pybbit: Finds a wild one and attempts to capture it because impressed by its speed and tenacity (a Snivy like episode) also shows that Razoon and Pybbit rival for Ash affection as his better Pokémon
-Coykit: Ash finds an injured one alone in the forest and they overcome great lengths to escape the forest relying only on each other to get out. (It is very much like Rockruff in terms of personality)

Definitely he’d catch a Sproot my grass starter

Alegio a water alligator that fights with barbs
      Luckee the pseudo legend p

      Maybe Grimgoyl

      Reply
        • Well naturally he’d find a Shardinal trying to peck his brains out and will be an early capture will very little confrontation

Sproot are notoriously social Pokemon and would naturally buddy up with ash if he shows it the slightest attention, perhaps meadow break and it wanders up to him

Dojoey and or Comboa naturally pugnacious Pokemon would challenge Ash on the spot or he would witness them battling and be impressed

Alegio found in the water via a fishing episode

And Luckee I see as either an egg or some kinda rare encounter

          Reply
    • I’m late but:
Cavursus – Grass/Rock Starter, final form of Bearine which probably would try to protect Pikachu from something and get hurt.
Superine – Fighting/Fairy, evolution of Comibook Which Maybe saw Ash as some sort of a Hero and wanted to travel with him
Pyraqua – Fire/Water, evolution of Heatfish, he’d catch it in a fishing ep
Resnowcue (name needs changing) – Normal/Ice helped Ash when he got Lost in mountains, later Sister Joy gave him to Ash
Żubrrior – Fighting/Steel, final form of Euson, the Euson egg was given to him by the Żubrrior that gave birth to it before the third gym, kinda Ash’s ace

I haven’t even seen a damn piece of Iron and it’s already a week past summer,

I honestly think this is just not for me…

    Reply
    • Iron is only found later in the game (mines 40+), don’t expect to find it by the first week of Summer year 1. Robin the carpenter lets you build a silo, the same way you can upgrade your house. Check for construct buildings when you’re talking to her.
And just farm the money growing crops (melons, red cabbage), use your time to dig up stuff that looks like three worms with the hoe, forage stuff at the beach and in the forest with the Wizard tower, and occasionally go to the mines (often redoing the same five floors for ease). You’ll often get recipes that you can’t craft or that are not useful to craft until waay later in the game. The game’s only designed so that you need to go through at least two years to have decent access to most stuff.

  57. Deathly Hallows ✔

    – Watched both parts together to have complete experience having read the book
    – And what a great film and ending. IMO the best 2 films of the saga easily
    – It had everything literally. Film was so action packed and nail biting that I was on the edge throughout
    – Extremely serious & mature plot but it gave me that “Epic grand adventure” feel like this is it, eveything is being put on the line here, this is make or break
    – Acting was amazing, theming and cinematography/visual effects were astoundingly good..battle of hogwarts comes to mind!

    – The plot itself was masterful thanks to the book. You have Harry and co. on the run in a now very dangerous Dumbledore/Ministry less world trying to find life threatening horcrux’s all the while Voldemort amassing an army! Wow!

    – What I liked that unlike the prev films you didnt have a few moments of action and drama against evil, the entire film was jam packed e.g. Gringotts, Battle at Hogwarts, Nagini at Godrick Hollow, Malfoys mannor, the wedding, 7 Harry’s scene, Luna’s house..all where portrayed really well

    – I loved how we revisited so many places we had earlier in the film e.g. Gringotts, Chambers of secrets, Requirement room, Olivanders shop, Ministry, AND especially Godrick hollow! It was the culmination of the saga and nostalgic indeed

    – Battle of hogwarts was epic, action packed but nostalgic you felt an attachment with the school when it was being attacked

    – And seeing all the characters go was sad as well

    – 19 years later was a sweet end and great for fans like me :]

    Best films period.

Just finished off Silver and the Johto League with my team of:
Typhlosion, Quagsire, Umbreon, Heracross, Crobat & Miltank

Also did Gold the other day too (still Johto league – I started Silver first but had to wait to grind Eevee’s friendship). Gold team is:
Feraligatr, Ampharos, Bellosom, Sudowoodo, Xatu & Piloswine

Next stop is completing Silver up to beating Red then completing allI can for the dex without trading etc before doing the same on Gold

Really hope they release Crystal sometime in the future – already got my team planned out and it’s all Pokemon except one that I haven’t used before, and it’ll be one of my hardest runs in a main game before:
Meganuim, Espeon, Lanturn, Donphan, Ariados, Skarmory

      • They’re on the same 3DS unfortunately but that would be interesting to see which team is better. I mean I have no idea how I would set up that – would have to have a friend who knows about Pokemon take one team while I take the other and fight till there’s a winner.
I mean also they’ve all got in game movesets, so I would have to make the competitive – i.e.. make Umbreon into a defensive stall wall/Crobat a revenge killer, Miltank a healthy tank etc

Is there Tax on Gold and Silver VC? (Cause I think I want to get it and my brother too, but if there’s Tax he has to get a $20 card, cause they weirdly don’t make $15 E-Shop cards (even though most VC games only cost $10 or less and you need stupid tax)

Prevo Idea: Nisipura pure Rock a transparent shapeless squid
Buzzwole and Pheromosa could have a shared prevo
Larfight Bug/Fighting- a small orange larva with sticking out legs and arms
    Xurkitree prevo
Seercoot Elextric a Snake like wire
    Celesteela prevo
Princesteel Steel/Flying a smaller less detailed Cele
    Kartana prevo
Sheethin Grass/Steel a sheet of paper with colourful shapes that look like Kartana’s face
    Guzzlord prevo
Hanger pure Dark, a Munchlax sized guzzlord with fewer arms and teeth
