I’m so shocked and baffled right now.
So I was on my 16th streak in the Singles Battle Subway and I’m down to my last Pokemon, Conkeldurr. The opponent has their last Pokemon, Beheeyem at a little less than half health. I have my Conkeldurr use Strength (since Wake-up-Slap won’t be very effective and Rock Slide could miss) on the Beheeyem, and because my Conkeldurr is Adamant with a good bit of Attack EVs (since I always put proteins on it), it should’ve knocked it out.
It lives on exactly one health and kills Conkeldurr with Psyshock.
Battle Subway cheats, that’s always the case with battle facilities in the games.

Facing my brother in Diamond I had sent in my Honchkrow (my last Pokémon) v.s. his Machamp at like 10Hp (and his last one). And for an extra note I was 3 levels higher
And he somehow out sped me and used I think Cross Chop and took me out in a single hit

It’s first form is a Pure Grass Type that stands on two legs and has a closed flower bud head with eyes
It’s two evolutions I have not completely finished idea’s for, but it will become Grass/Dragon in the mid stage and sticks to the type in the final stage
It’s based on Snapdragons (So it probably will have something like Strong Jaw for an ability)

Mine is called Luckee which is Dragon/Fairy which is based on a Chi Dragon, it has lucky symbols embedded into it

and its ability is Lucky Start which Increases a stat in the beginning of its turn

It looks exactly the same. Now look at the Garchomp line. Notice how different yet similar they all are? Don’t think of evolution like growing up like a human person. Instead minimize and accentuate elements.
So looking at Gabite and Gible…
-Expanded the body type. No longer all stubby and is more close to some kind of raptor.
-Fins are added appropriately since it is also based on a shark.
– The general color scheme is kept the same but made noticibly darker
– Hands are totally changed into fin like claws
– A tail becomes bigger and more detailed
– Lines are added suggesting some kind of gills
Notice how it is mostly adding stuff from its origin (shark dinosaur) that were hinted at in its first form? So now from Gabite to Garchomp
– Darker colors with more of the yellow that was present in Gabite’s eyes subtly
– Body Type is in e again expanded to make it look taller, more agile, more powerful, and even closer to a raptor
– More spikes (this is honestly a lazy way of making an evolution different but since the rest of the elements are changing enough it’s fine here)
– Tail is now fully expanded into a shark tail
– Larger fins
– Legs are now fully grown
– Larger mouth to look more intimidating
Keep in mind that it’s evolution should look stronger or more powerful in some way than its previous form. Think about the elements a real animal would evolve to have to fend off predators.
Hope this helps. Take a look at other evolutions and try to break them down and understand them. Hopefully more in depth than I just did

Bigger, angrier, and more spikes. Not different enough. Not even close to different enough
Also that ice type literally came out of nowhere
A group of Typigon had to move up a mountain in the Summer to avoid too much heat, then their way back was blocked by a rock being broken off, so they evolved to survive in the winter
So every single Typigon ever in the world is going to be ice type because at some point a few of them got really cold.

Alolan Raichu holds up because of its strong design that reflects the type given to it. It would be much better though with an origin that makes sense.
The crabrawler is not the example you want to use considering that it uses zero elements from crabrrawler. It isn’t a good evolution.
Maybe if you don’t want people to be critical then then don’t post your fakemons. You can do that or realize that I’m not attacking you as a human being and telling you what doesn’t work about your Pokémon.

Crabrawler shoes zero elements that would lead you to believe it could become an ice type. It’s explanation of only evolving when it at Mount Lankila makes no sense for an evolution. It’s an evolution non sequetor
Even tho I like the idea of that evo… It doesn’t make much sense, like, by that explanation would make crabominable a regional form of crabrawler
So you evolve it in a high place? But why? This explanation needs more work. And this works a lot more for an explanation of a regional form than an evolution
Dracommon and Typigon are common pokemon, not rare at all. The first Drakkarctic were found by people and had offspring Dracommon that got released into the wild. Years later, the gene of evolving into Drakkarctic was in every Typigon, it just had to be activated by strong Typigon feeling the cold.

You know there are and always were pokemon that don’t have drastical changes between stages? I still confuse Floette for Flabebe because of how simmilar they are. Deino by evolving changes proportions and gains few feathers. And just look at most gen I evos.

And you realize the reason they are similar is because they are building up to a form that actually improves upon elements of Flabebe and Floette is needed as an inbetween leading to a very unique Pokémon meanwhile your line looks like someone took a dinosaur and gave it progressively bigger spikes made out of paper mache

The change between Typigon and Drakkartic are more drastic than between Dracommon and Typigon for a reason, in size, proportions, many body parts and especially in colour. I really thing you’re making too Big of a deal out of this.

The first two stages are like a typical two stager in pokemon. Like Miccino, or Ribombee, or Aromatisse. Drakkarctic was created by evolution (darwinniar more than pokemonian), by the strongest out of the group enduring the cold. It makes sense.

It’s a pseudo legend, so 3 stages feel right… also I think you can notice few things about Typigons design that are used in Drakkarctic (location of the scales, colour of the scales, the half closed eye resemblingthe shape of Drakkarctics pupil etc)
Then I think you can make the designs for each mon to stand more on its own by not being so similar to one another

I prefer a 3rd Kalos game, because they did nothing with the huge potential that region has.

But the Kahuna from Bulu’s never told you that until the very end so he didn’t have a chance to tell more about Bulu.
And the are of Bulu’s temple is optional so it’s not a big of an issue.
