September CoroCoro Leaking [UPD]

Following the soft reveal of a blurry Lycanroc Dusk Form on the front cover, pages from Japanese comic magazine, CoroCoro, have begun to leak and contain information about the new form!

UPDATE: We finally have clearer images of the CoroCoro leaks and can confirm the following info:

  • There will be a “Special Rockruff” distribution for Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon from launch day until January 10th, 2018
  • Confirmation that Lycanroc Dusk Form cannot be obtained through normal gameplay and seems to be tied to events
  • Dusk Form Lycanroc is pure Rock-type
  • When evolving into Dusk Form, Lycanroc can learn both Counter and Accelrock – which were previously Midnight and Midday form exclusives respectively
  • It can have the ability Tough Claws, which boosts the power of contact moves by 30%

  1. I was pretty excited for Dusk, too. I’ve never been this disappointed before a Pokemon game before. I’m looking forward to the Switch one, at least. :T Maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised? Idk. I’m so bummed.

  3. Well I just noticed that my animal crossing new leaf game is missing…..hoping i find it in the car tomorrow because I really don’t want to have to rebuy it and start from scratch. Had the golden axe, all the fossils and the final store upgrade. Even the coffee shop.

  4. Well, the term killjoy is very relevant right now, so is disappointment, and hateful…
    Not to me in particular, i’m neutral and will buy the games regardless… still, dusk form doesn’t inspire much, but it’s all we got so far, so…

    Same. But imagine how big the Cities will be on Switch graphics? Just thinking about it excites me.

    I agree. But mostly they need to apply the Platinum content especially Distortion World.
    Also I’d like an Arceus Delta like storyline, actually I’d love it, No I absolutely want it.

    Aside from that I want Sinnoh to look better like how Hoenn was so beautiful.
    Upgrades to Underground, Secret Bases etc

    And last but not least new formes say for Arceus, maybe even other legendaries. New Heatran form?
    Mega evolutions etc

    I’d like subtle changes to everything.
    IMO the Sinnoh stiry was one of the best but I’d still like small subtle changed here and there.

    I’d like an upgrade to the theme like how in ORAS they added primal/mega evolution theme to plot.
    Maybe in Sinnoh they add something related to time, space or Arceus?

    I think these games would be quite challenging, Sinnoh was always a challenge.
