REWARDS UPDATE: Despite difficulties at GO Fest, players around the world have completed all the Window Challenges and unlocked legendaries! Lugia will be given out to all GO Fest ticket holders, and Lugia raid battles will start to roll out worldwide over the next two days. Since Team Mystic contributed the most during the challenges, Articuno Raid Battles will start to roll out in the same time frame as well. In addition to the legendary birds, the following GO Fest bonuses will be active around the globe for the next 48 hours:

  • Double Stardust
  • Double Candy
  • Double XP
  • Increased Pokémon encounters
  • Reduced hatching distance
  • Reduced buddy distance

Located in Grant Park on the coast of Chicago, Illinois, Pokémon GO Fest promises plenty of Pokémon fun for ticket holders:

  • Catch a wide variety of Pokémon, including some that have never been seen before in Grant Park (regional exclusives, as well as Unown are strongly hinted at)
  • Unlock the exclusive Pokémon GO Fest Chicago medal for your profile page
  • Take advantage of the Pokémon GO Fest walking course, lined with PokéStops that award special 2 km Eggs which can only be obtained in Grant Park

Can’t attend? No worries – you can still take part in the fun! The millions of PoGO players across the globe can work together with the thousands of trainers in the park to complete challenges throughout the day and unlock amazing in-game rewards globally! Earlier this week Niantic revealed that the first ever Legendary Pokémon will be one of these rewards – but it will only appear in Grant Park if trainers around the world successfully meet the capture goals set throughout the weekend. If trainers in Chicago manage to defeat the legendary, it will start appearing in Raid Battles everywhere.

    • As i stated in the past, when Jade Jungle was abandoned i took up the mantle and kinda kept going
      as much as i like Jade Jungle it’ll have to be just Jade or a similar green gemstone
      the reason why is because the whole story is Nature and a evolving world, the Eyanu region was once endowed with so much life energy and nature flourished like wildfire
      generations passed and soon the region was introduced to the advancements of technology and nature slowly faded out

      Mine’s tentatively called Pokemon Guardians. 9 people are chosen to be “Guardians” following a life-changing event. Each Guardian has a representative legendary pokemon, a power associated with that, and telekinesis (I might change the telekinesis to being only one Guardian’s specific power, not sure). Each Guardian also has a mark, which glows when their power is used. Think Signers from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s, if you’ve seen it

        • Thanks! 🙂 I wanted to try and incorporate a way for the player to be able to use their power whenever they wanted, but I don’t know how… for now it will simply have to remain a part of story cut-scenes.
          And I have a rough idea of how the story will unfold. I don’t really want to spoil anything (what I said in my last comment is revealed pretty early on) though. Right now I have the story tentatively divided into 5 parts: Prologue, Arc I (basically worldbuilding part 1), Arc II, Arc III (worldbuilding part 2), Arc IV, and Epilogue.

          • If you could incorporate someway for your character to use their power it’d be amazing seeing as it’d really set it apart from other fangames, but otherwise I still think the game sounds amazing and unique enough :00

            Yeah, the only reason I share so much of my stuff is because it’s a side concept I’m never gonna bring to fruition, but it’s really cool you’re not over spoiling yours because that’d make it way more exciting to play! 😀

            I’m just curious how you’re gonna pick the legends, seeing as you’re using pre-established ones, right? :0

          • Yup, pre-established. I have them all chosen and every Guardian designed as well 🙂 How they’re chosen is important to the story, so I can’t say!

            I don’t know if it’s possible or not, but maybe you could design zelda like Puzzles and the character could solve them using the legends power. I don’t know what said power is though, so I can’t really give any more suggestions.

    I gave it a prevo and a gender exclusive evos:
    Hyecub (Ground/Dark) Evolves into
    Guffang (males are Ground females are Ground/Dark) males evolve into
    Scavfang (Ground/Ghost)
    females evolve into
    Hyerarchy (Dark/Ground)

    -Ninja are redesigned to look more like the movie
    -Someone is gonna die (Let’s hope that for real this time (but not Jay or Nya))
    -Better Graphics and Sound effects
    -A lot of lore
    -New voice actor for Lloyd
    -Garmadon has more than one son
