Magikarp Jump Launches WORLDWIDE! Hints & Tips Inside

The free-to-pay title Magikarp Jump can now be downloaded in North America and other regions on iTunes and Google Play! The official site has been updated with a page about the game and a trailer has also been released in English.

Joe Merrick, owner of Serebii.net, shared his thoughts about how to progress the fastest after playing for a week:

  1. Power up the food over Training. Food is a quicker way of getting JP.
  2. Don’t spend Diamonds on Coin Sacks. It can be tempting, but the coin value you get increases as you level up.
  3. Decoration effects will still be active even if not on display. Get the Whimsicott Cushion first, then Shaymin Planter for their boosts

Good luck training your Magikarp everyone!

  1. Episode 973: Enter Ilima, the Honor Student from the Class Next Door!
Episode 974: A New Trial! Challenge Akala Island
The first sees Ash challenge Ilima after he gets a high score in a test. The second sees Ash head to Akala Island to meet Olivia and learn of the three trials
ASH GETS A HIGH SCORE ON A TEST? WHAT MADNESS IS THIS

    • While I’ve been enjoying this season a bit I do kind of wish they had stuck to the normal formula of Ash traveling and meeting these people in their normal elements rather than at school. I just watched the episode with Kiawe’s family and the way they treat Ash like a child where he has to ask Kukui if he can go with Kiawe is a little much. Even if Ash was gonna do what h’es doing I wish they’d give him a little more autonomy and act like he’s the experienced traveler he is. He shouldn’t need to ask permission to go anywhere imo lol

  5. Why do I let myself get pulled into dumb arguments…..? I got a guy on Bulbagarden telling me that journalists will ALWAYS reveal ALL the info they have simply because they have it…….As if journalists and their sources don’t have special relationships where they have to keep each other’s secrets ever now and then……..*sigh*……

This might be the cause of all those spams :p

  6. Speaking of smash bros. I would like to know What type of characters do you like to play as? and What characters are your mains and what are some you just enjoy?

Personally, I play as lightweights , and medium speed characters. I especially enjoy defensive. Thus causing a little dabble in heavy weights.
My mains are Definitely Lucas and Zelda. Lucas for amazing zoning spiffy hair, and PK love. Zelda with her sass, my enjoyment of Zelda games, and her amazing defensive walling.
I enjoy Marth Lucina Robin Roy because I like sword characters
I like Falco just for his Aerial Power,
Lastly for my heavyweights I play as Charizard a lot actually, hes in tthird place for most kills on my game, I also enjoy some Ike and Ganondorf.

  9. Tried the pro controller for an hour, and I gotta say, it’s a lot better than the motion controls. I still like the motion controls, and I’m sure I just need to get used to them, but the pro controller just feels better.

    • I think the problem with the motion controls is that it’s tiring. Sure it feels fun to use, but at a certain point there’s only so much actual punching and flailing around you can do before you get tired. Also I’d say the controls are weird in general. It’s not a bad thing, but they definitely take a few matches to get used to. lol

  10. My regional mammal/rattata/whatever you call them

    Polemask (Polecat + Mask)
    Normal
    The Heroic Pokemon
Polemask like to help other pokemon, sometimes they save lives. They are loved by smaller pokemon.

    Evolves at level 20 into:

    Polecante (Polecat + Vigilante)
    Fighting
    The Masked Pokemon
They are even better at saving lives than Polemask. There’s a legend that a long time ago, a Polemask saved a Cubone’s mother from dying, and it raised it’s offspring to be a powerful mother.

      A Promise
If it’s ally is going to be KO’ed it has 50% chance to Switch their HP points (for example: the ally got 1 hit KO’ed, the Polecante has max HP, then Polecante is KO’ed instead and the ally has max HP)
