  1. Whats everyones favourite thing about their least favourite game/generation?

For me its the pokemon, DPPlt had amazing pokemon, even if they have my least favourite starters (honestly dislike all three, ill only use chimchar) but other than that all the pokemon were top notch. Oh and the Evolutions of past mons, they need to do that again!!!

  2. So I need a Ace Pokemon for my Amazon Dragon Gym leader Eva
It has to be wild and ferocious maybe like a Quilled Frill Lizard mixed in with a thorny devil that has an axe for a frill and all sorts of bladed accessories but it has to be pure dragon

And lastly Jayden my final Gym Leader, a wise and incredibly powerful martial arts master, he may be elderly but his skill and training is beyond comprehension (he was even offered a spot on the Elite Four)

And he battles with his partner Woofukong a buddhist monk Mandrill Fighting/Psychic

It’s also going to be a pain in the ass designing a Pokémon that fills your niche but not step on Haxorus or Kommo-o territory

          • i mean it has to be a wild powerhouse
Eva is literally a dragon lady, wild and violent but does not tolerate evil doers and dishonorable antics

  4. Spouncer
    Jumping Pokemon
    Bug type
    2’03 20lbs
    Ability: Swarm

Spouncer are bug pokémon that live in forests and caves. They are very swift as they tend to bounce on the coil under them to scape. Spouncer are easily scared of and not very sociable at first.

    Jumparach
    Springing Pokemon
    Bug/Dark
    4’00 110.5lbs
    Ability: Swarm/Technician
    Evolves from Spouncer at lv25

Jumparach live in forest and in caves, they can often be seen on top of trees since they’re coils allow them to jump really high. Jumparach like to surprise pokémon and trainers by jumping on them and start a battle.

  5. Thundrin
    Arboreal Pokemon
    Electric type
    1’08 30.9lbs
    Abilities: Static/Lightning Rod

Thundrin are agile pokémon that live on trees, jumping from branch to branch. They are very friendly and feisty. Whenever there is a thunderstorm, so that their trees won’t get hit, Thundrin attract the thunders to themselves, it makes them stronger.

    Tamashock
    Territorial Pokemon
    Electric/Fighting
    3’00 70lbs
    Abilities: Static/Lightning Rod
    Evolves from Thundrin at lv27

Tamashock are territorial, plucky pokémon, they live among trees in small groups. Usually, one group doesn’t invade another’s territory because they have a very keen sense of smell.

Got this off Deviantart, absolutely love it and Electric/Fighting would be such a cool typing!

  7. Yo just gonna paste my Fakémon document to show how far I’ve came

Anyone got any suggestions for how Cosmic can interact with other types? It’s got a Ground resistance (because an Immunity would just be ridiculous), is resisted by Ice and Grass, and weak to Psychic.

      The Backstory

Aceris and Qalaryk, two ancient Pokémon born from the sea, awaken and quarrel every one hundred years. Their fierce fights mars the four regions that make up the kingdom, threatening to tear the land asunder without the intervention of Neuthair, the pacifying mother of the sea. • i dunno none of these sound like Pokemon, i feel the names are trying too hard to sound complex

all of this just seems like its trying to do too much…maybe see how it sounds if you dumbed it down a smidge

        Reply
        • I’m sorry but I really don’t see how something like ‘Hirsutox’ or ‘Ragaroot’ is complex

And if you’re talking about the legendaries, they’re meant to sound weird and complicated. The elementals are worshipped as Gods and given a naming scheme such as the Tapu (Penta + word from their country’s old/native language) whereas the chemical Trio are UBs

    • If you’re not overlapping that removes Leafeon, Espeon, Jolteon and Vaporeon

That leaves Flareon, Umbreon and Glaceon

I’d recommend Flareon if you really care about a GFW triangle, but your team would appreciate a special attacker in Glaceon, who whilst obtained somewhat later is still somewhat reasonable

Umbreon is a kind of dark horse (heh) but it’s cute and its more defensive nature can help round out your team too

My vote: Glaceon, Flareon is super underpowered in Gen IV without Flame Charge or Flare Blitz, having to go mixed. Umbreon slows down gameplay and your team is already physically inclined

      Reply
      • Yep going Glaceon, i never used it before plus Modest nature so I also dont have a choice because I already have an Electric type in Luxio.

        Reply
      • I agree Flareon got way better later. As did Umbreon really, thanks to foul play. Glaceon is the only one that’s pretty much as useable now as it was then.

        Reply
        • When they finally gave Flareon Flare Blitz I died (also Flame Charge might be weaker but it patches up that bad speed)

          Reply
          • It is a vast improvement for it. I think there’s still more they could give it, but it definitely helps. Maybe Burn Out (or whatever the new one is called). Or y’know, Sacred Fire ;P

  8. So my legitimate Safari Ball Carvanha can’t be traded but obviously hacked Beast Ball Torchics and Mudkips can. OK then -_-

  9. Has anyone noticed a trend in their teams? In regions with excessive HM use, I almost always have a Water – Type, and before ride I’d have a flying type for fly. Also most of my teams are type triangles and I try to force a Fairy or two in there
