The Pokémon Bank update we’ve all been waiting for is finally available in the eShop!
This update adds the much anticipated compatibility with Pokémon Sun and Moon in Pokémon Bank, and the ability to send Pokémon from Pokémon Red, Blue, Green and Yellow Versions through Poké Transporter. Poké Transporter’s 1.1 patch requires 420 blocks, whereas you have to redownload Pokémon Bank entirely for 496 blocks.
In honor of the update, a Mewnium Z will be given as a gift to those who subscribe to Pokémon Bank. To receive it simply launch and use the new Pokémon Bank by October 2nd, 2017, and when you next play your Pokémon Sun or Moon games a new Wonder Card will appear in the Mystery Gift function. When used in game the Mewnium Z unlocks an exclusive Z-Move for Mew: Gensis Supernova!

If you have a spare Gen 6-7 game you can reset, you can dump them in that game and reset…
Ugh….Idk y, but I apparently didn’t bother catching Mewtwo in my Yellow and was super deep in Cerulean Cave without the proper stuff. so I had to slowly drag myself out of the cave and get my M Ball, get a bunch of repels, and an escape rope. Now I’m heading back to Mewtwo….Even with the repels it’s such a grind to get through…..lol ALL I WANT IS TO TRANSFER ALL MUH POKEMONS!! lol
So does this update let you transfer items as well?

We can’t trade between gens anyway… but I guess it matters when the rest of the other Mega Stones are released and we want them all in one game. 🙁
No, they meant use pokebank to trade between sun and moon, which also isn’t possible :/
Well yeah I just did it one by one… all the apricorn balls, the master ball, the lucky egg, the soothe bell… 🙂
It’ll be a pain when the other mega stones in “Stars” or a Sinnoh Remake or sequel or whatever…
I plan on doing rare candies as well and it will be bothersome. They need to do an item trade feature that’s super quick between games.

When bank racks up a few Pokemiles, I will try transferring them on Sun to see if they turn into FC. (I just cashed in all the BP though so I have 0 of anything at this point.)

Guaranteed HA, at least 3 IVs are 31. Mew is banned.
Application: I think randomly catching dittos in Gen 1 and banking them is the best way to get many good dittos of different natures.

For Transporter, just start up the new Bank and there’s an option to get it.
