The Pokémon Bank update we’ve all been waiting for is finally available in the eShop!
This update adds the much anticipated compatibility with Pokémon Sun and Moon in Pokémon Bank, and the ability to send Pokémon from Pokémon Red, Blue, Green and Yellow Versions through Poké Transporter. Poké Transporter’s 1.1 patch requires 420 blocks, whereas you have to redownload Pokémon Bank entirely for 496 blocks.
In honor of the update, a Mewnium Z will be given as a gift to those who subscribe to Pokémon Bank. To receive it simply launch and use the new Pokémon Bank by October 2nd, 2017, and when you next play your Pokémon Sun or Moon games a new Wonder Card will appear in the Mystery Gift function. When used in game the Mewnium Z unlocks an exclusive Z-Move for Mew: Gensis Supernova!

Can someone confirm that the shiny charm is obtained via the Alola dex still?
The dex doesn’t do anything to the in-game one from what I can see, so I assume it’s irrelevant to it.

I just beat Blue in a 50 consecutive round of Super Doubles! I’m glad I got the new stamp before I used Bank, as that was a goal of mine! 😀
I’m just gonna import my old team of Typhlosion, Greninja and Metagross/Azumarill for BT Singles. I’ve really had it with this nonsense.
It took ages (obviously), but I found that Xurkitree, Oranguru, Torkoal, and A-Marowak make such a great doubles team.
My doubles team that took out Blue was Tapu Koko, Gyarados, A-Marowak, Oranguru so we pretty much have similar ideas heh heh heh.

My Pokebank was kinda stacked since last 1 1/2 years (30+ pages) and I’ve been accumulating BP since then heh heh heh.
Stored up from bank last gen I’d think.

Just go into Bank and there’ll be an option to claim the BP you stockpiled in Bank.
Oh, and just to cover bases, there’s no way to transfer the BP from XYORAS to Bank or S&M.

Funny thing is 3 years ago we finally got Pokebank so we could transfer Gen 5 Pokemon to Gen 6, and now we finally got the update for Pokebank to transfer Gen 6 Pokemon to Gen 7.

What like your subscription for Bank is still going? Then yes of course. It’s the same service after all. Otherwise you’d just put money in your eshop account and Bank uses that.
