Pokémon GO Gearing Up For Something Big

Several leaks and announcements are pointing to Niantic gearing up for something huge in Pokémon GO!

Pictures, screenshots, and more have popped up from a confidential notice for Starbucks employees about a new sponsorship deal with the popular coffee shop beginning on December 8th. This sponsorship includes making most, but not all, Starbucks locations a Gym or Pokéstop in game and the introduction of a brand new Pokémon GO inspired Frappuccino! But what’s bigger than the appropriately Raspberry flavored blended drink is that the employee notice says “Pokémon GO is about to expand with new Pokémon” and a “new update.” This, alongside an official partnership with Sprint to make 10,500 locations Gyms or PokéStop adds to the hopefully growing list of sponsorships, and the possible introduction to Generation II Pokémon.

But if Gen II is just around the corner, what about the still omitted legendary Pokémon from Gen I? What do you think, will this holiday season mark us being able to catch Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile and the rest of Generation II in GO? Whatever the case, the update on Dec. 12th will definitely shed some light on the matter.

      Hmmmmmm what GC games would I pay to relive….
      Hmm Paper Mario TYD and Mario Kart Double Dash honestly maybe Mario Power Tennis (but they have the new play control out)
      I mean I have a ton of old games that enthralled my younger self but seeing them as a Virtual Console seem unlikely

      Sonic Adventure 1/2
      Super Monkey Ball
      Pikmin 1-2 seem possible but….I just played them all a month ago
      Oooo Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness could be good

          • I really just wish one day all games can be “absorbed” into a mega emulator that never breaks, never runs slow or glitches out, all games run like clockwork and a “Everycontroler” that attuned to each game…
            And it has a sexy layout library that resembles each boxart instead of text….

  3. Also a little update on the Sun and Moon anime. Confirmed that Ash gets to meet Lusamine in episode 8 and gets to meet Hala and starts his first trial in episode 9.

      • I don’t like Hau so if he plays a minor role in the anime I’m okay with that. I still feel that Kiawe becomes Ash’s rival

        • Kiawe is more the stern mentor type, keeping Ash in line when it comes to Z-Moves but valuing the more strict traditional ways of doing things which clash with Ash’s unorthodox methods

          I still greatly want to see Ash ACTUALLY GET SOME RIVALS EARLY
          Honestly as great Sawyer was he still didn’t get a ton of activity, unlike Paul the greatest rival ever…

          But my idea is Hau is basically Ash’s other half, a stupidly cheerful battler who takes on everything he sees, he has his own Pikachu who shows almost as much power as Ash’s but he also wants to be Island Champion and this fuels their Frivalery

          • Gladion? Honestly I see some similarities with Paul in him. Strives to be strongest and doesn’t allow anything to get in his way.

            I mean they can’t confine every episode to the school house

          • The school is just a front I think, for semi-filler episodes maybe? I really doubt they’re going to dedicate an entire season to Ash’s shenanigans in school.

  12. I’m really excited to finish my competitive team today. Just need to Train Sp.Atk for Salandit as well as Speed for Salandit and Mimikyu then EV training is done! Then all that’s left is leveling up and getting the right moves .-.

    Level 100 for Magearna and Silvally lets go I guess

  14. How come Bulbapedia includes Mohn as Lillies Dad despite it not being said in game or by anything official, basically saying it’s because theres enough evidence, and yet won’t include Zygarde as part of a trio with Xerneas and Yveltal despite it being clear as day?

    (ps, I know it’s obvious that Mohn is their dad, but my point is the double standard)

Alright Guys I have decided for my fan region since I need Gym leaders I want to host a round robin tourney to select 8 Leaders for this region (No not related to Poke jungle Gym leaders this is completely different) But I need help setting it up Isthme or someone mind helping me out how to start a registration for it

  19. Why is Dhelmise so hard to find! I’ve gotten 8 sticky barbs and 3 bottle caps and god knows how many pearls! Am I doing something wrong? I’m pretty sure I’m in the right place. (The Steelix boat right?)
