I’m annoyed all these trials being so close in level.

in my opinion more challenging isn’t a good thing, I like it to be a normal balance, like if I lost to a totem twice in a row id get pretty annoyed and more than that I would probably stop playing for a few days
This game has so many little details. I went back to MeleMele to look for any TMs I might have missed and found some Corsola next to kukui’s house! Their trainer gave me a widelens!

There is an insane amount of exploring in this game.
How far are you into the game?
I THOUGHT I was about to fight Olivia, but there’s so much to explore. I think went in the opposite direction I was “supposed” to after getting through Diglett Tunnel.
I love how, despite the game being quite linear, it doesn’t feel that way. Rather than having a straight path there’s a lot of backtracking and revisiting you can do.

So is it kinda silly that Big Mo might be my favorite character in this game. He’s just the embodyment of a good steel trainer.
I love how “non-linear” this game is compared to other Pokemon games. It’s all about enjoying yourself, exploring, forging bonds with your Pokemon, and making new friends and rivals! The Trials feel like scavenger hunts and are probably one of the best parts of the games: unlike gyms where we know exactly where to go next and what our goal will be, Trials offer a hint of mystery and there isn’t always a clear path per se. On the other hand, Alola is extremely beautiful and vibrant and is truly brimming with life and so much input and aesthetics that it’s just a really good game to look at. Sun/Moon have outmatched expectations and I can say that in terms of what they have to offer are probably the best Pokemon games to date.
They really feel so unique compared to the rest of the series. This game really was made out of love for the series
I agree. It’s a beautiful, ceremonial celebration of the legacy of one of the greatest franchises in video gaming history: Pokemon, and showcases how far it has come in the last 20 years! <3

I meant is it efficient?
It keeps you right in front of the daycare, and you can mindlessly do it without having to worry about going back and forth (Sure the Lumiose method will always be the best, but it’s still kinda nice xD)
Basically you spin around there and you can see the girl change her pose indicating that an egg is available, without going offscreen.
