  1. So going over the new Pokemon move pools and I think I might actually hate Oricorio’s move pool. Like a lot actually. I can get over the fact it doesn’t learn moves of fire, electric, psychic, and ghost typing naturally, but the fact that it can’t learn any of those types through TM at least is bs. It should have been able to learn something like Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Psychic, and Shadow ball, but it doesn’t at all. The only move that it gets of any of it’s first types that are useful is Revelation Dance. It bums me out majorly. I really like Oricorio’s design and background, but its lack of moves that would be STAB for it other than Flying type moves is frustrating…….

      • I hope that doesn’t happen. But if we’re getting day 1 3D Mario, I’ll survive. Hopefully if Zelda isn’t day 1, it’s a summer title.

    • Well yeah, but not official news. Nintendo already stated it’s not saying anything until January. So we’ll have to see what Eurogamer says and see if it’s complete truth or just parts of it are. Either way it’s more like a rumor than real news.

      • EuroGamer doesn’t put out rumors unless they know they’re true. They’re the ones who leaked the Switch design. And I’m not a Emily Rogers hater.

        • Yeah, but even the Switch design wasn’t 100% accurate. It was basically the same, but there were details that were wrong. I’m not saying the info they post will be fake, but it might not be completely all there or exactly what we get. Either way it should still be interesting to see what they post lol

  2. So I’m away off until I complete the games! Going to miss you all! So I’ve decided to do a. ‘Pre-Release Period in Review’-basically, everything I’ve learned from my time here, or in other places during pre release

    1) Site has a ton of LGBT+ members
    2) Fairies are Pokémon Marmite
    3) There’s bigger dorks than me
    4) I’m not the youngest
    5) The people here feel like actual people, not just people over the Internet you know nothing about.
    6) Love y’all <3
    7) You're all so open to ideas such as a shared fanfic universe, CAH, casual tournaments
    8) Gonna miss you all on my hiatus
    9) Sombra is bae, good but not OP. She can act as a flanker, a lure, a pseudo healer (hacking health packs), a pure assistant for more damaging characters, a scout… And you can practically switch on the fly!

(Seriously Star be excited Sombra is awesome AF)

  4. As per usual, I need to know something… Does anyone know how much Base Power Stoked Sparksurfur does, and also can I only use it on thunderbolt?

    • I’ll add this stuff as a reply so people don’t have to refresh, I chose Desidueye because I always choose the grass starter the first play though, Alolan Dugtrio for kind of nostalgic reasons (I had a really strong Dugtrio back in the days of Red and Blue who I loved), Alolan Raichu for the same reason, Talonflame for fire and flying coverage, oranguru because he’s cool and water spider because he’s a beast!

  6. I can’t wait to do battle royales on here.
Battling was so fun back in gen 6 on here, so I can’t wait to relive that (but even better!).

  7. SERIOUSLY THOUGH!! Did they finally remove:
    1) The name rater? Can I just rename pokemon from the menu?
    2) The dumb rule that a pokemon that was traded to you cannot be renamed? (I despise this rule.)
