A stream of Pokémon Sun & Moon (coming next month to the Nintendo 3DS) on Japanese video site NicoNico recently revealed a few small details about the pair of games, which can be found below:
- Shaking grass returns to the games, but its function may differ and there’s a new animation of the wild Pokémon jumping out
- The number of Trials has been confirmed as seven
- Ilima’s trial was previewed and featured the player finding Rattata in a cave, after which they were awarded with a Z Crystal
- Rotom Dex will show you your Pokédex completion percentage after catching a Pokémon
These small tidbits just make me want to play the games more! Not too much longer to wait…

I know people are always really angry with Pokemon randomly gaining Fairy type but why aren’t Azelf, Uxie and Mesprit fairy types? Their names literally mean Elf, Pixie and Spirit
I feel the same way. Why give Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff Fairy and not REAL fairies?
They seemed to be avoid in retyping legends, not a single one got retyped when quite a few kinda fit it
They’re legendaries, retcon their types and all hell will break loose.
Plus they are the embodiment of Logos, Ethos and Pathos which are all concepts to do with deep thinking.

Rank these gens of *Final* Starter evos from best to worst: Gen 5, 6, and 7. I feel like the last 3 gens haven’t had great final evos, in my honest opinion. I’d have to go
1) Gen 7 (Rowlet3 is really good, Popplio3 is well designed although not my fav, and Litten3 is bad)
2) Gen 5 (Serperior is amazing! One of the best starters ever in terms of design. Samurott is meh, and Emboar is a bit over designed.)
3) Gen 6 (I hate all 3 of these. Delphox is the least worst, imo, but still disappointing. I’ve seen better fan art for all 3 of these!)
1) Gen 5. Samurott and Serperior are actually very high on my list. Emboar is meh.
2) Gen 7. Rowlet3 is great and Litten3 is a solid design. Not keen on Popplio3 though.
3) Gen 6. Don’t like Chesnaught, Greninja is meh and Delphox is okay. Worst starter bunch yet.

I would have hated Tony whatever generation he was introduced in. I actually don’t mind fire fighting and I’m ok with Emboar 😛

2)Gen 5: Samurott is awesome, Seperior is cool but pretty bland, and I don’t like Emboar (should have been quadrupedal)
3)Gen 7: Rowlet3 is AMAZING, Popplio3 is a massive dissapointment (though not a terrible design), Litten3 is Horrendous
I’m kind of not sure if gen 7 will stay my least favourite starter gen in the long run, it’s always been gen V before, and I prefer Rowlet3 to Samurott, so maybe they should be made equal in quality.
I guess my overall starter gen list would be 3>4>1=2>6>5=7

Hypothetically what if we removed the Moon and replaced it with a big landmass floating in there
anything that gets significantly pulled in just enough in to stay in orbit could also affect the tides
and don’t forget the moon does not solely control them you gotta apply the earth’s rotation in there too but that goes without saying

Leavanny is actually very decent

Legitimately surprised I’m still the only negative voter when it comes to Popplio3. Seriously, how that thing can have less hate than Rowlet3 boggles me… Though maybe not so much considering the community here haha, loads of people love it.

I don’t hate it (at least, nowhere near the level I hate Tony), I just dislike it. It’s design isn’t that bad, it’s just not at all what I had in mind for Popplio, and is just disappointing to me compared to other alternatives. Popplio was cute, offbeat, and had great promise… I kinda liked those creepy clown seals, and I wanted something that went with the clown theme (despite disliking clowns) and did something with the real world basis (ie used Otariid elements). Instead we get an ugly duckling like progression to a japanese idol/srien, which isn’t a bad idea, just one I find heavily wastes Popplio’s potential.
I regret not choosing hate or dislike for it.

Actually there were lots of ideas, a circus strongman, a fighter, a dapper/fancy thing, a juggler, a general large seal monster thing.
A lot of them were based around water/fighting.
Just to round it out I really wanted a Water/Fighting starter to go with Chesnaught and the Fire Fighters.
Though you made me realise that we’re finally getting a fighting starterless gen.
We still don’t know for definite that Tony isn’t Fire/Fighting, we’ve only got theories to go on.
We can hope, I’d say they wouldn’t do that again, but yeah.
