  1. Can we all just appreciate all the little details Sun and Moon has like certain trainers (Team Skull Grunts, Olivia and Plumeria so far) using non-standard Poké Balls? It’s overall inconsequential but it adds a little bit of life into the franchise because now it doesn’t looks the sole buyer of other Poké Balls is your character.

I really hope a trainer catches Lunala/Solgaleo and we have to fight them (like a Kahuna or the ‘Island Challenge Champion’/whatever they’re called) just so we can see it come out a Master Ball and get a taste of our own medicine.

  2. From the box art I can see Popplio Hp being 42 at level 14, while Rowlet Hp being 50 at lv 16 (but I’m not sure about this one). Both pretty high, right?

  3. I posted this question in a previous article but it was ignored:
How likely do you think it will be that dateminers will find all the game’s information? Do you suppose GF learned from their mistakes and didn’t put the whole game’s coding in the demo?

    Reply
    • Short answers: quite likely honestly (if the second question is no) and the second question is up to you. I personally don’t think they did.

      Reply
    • people claim that GF learns from their mistakes but every single generation they always have someone who leaks important information from the games. So no, i do not think that GF learns from mistake, heck they probably didnt even try to do something about it

    • Well how about this: Will paying the money for extra man hours dedicated towards removing final game data from the demo result in additional sales that cover or exceed the costs of the extra man hours?

Extrapolate your own answer from there.

        • well if we learned something from him is that he sure knows some details, he has proven himself the last couple months

        • For a few things, yes. I’m just going to disregard him now. If he was putting false info in there he should’ve told us BEFORE we found out. Now he just looks like a sketchy fool.

          • Well the list he gave us the other day regarding how many of each type/how many evos some pokemon have was partially incorrect. Not cool, imo.

          • Actually that in of itself was proves slightly off, as someone pointed out that the numbers they posted and the numbers the translator posted were different. So who knows.

          • I’m still wary of this guy…partially because I feel like his riddles don’t really amount to much. We make the connections after we find stuff out officially so it’s not like he’s telling us anything substantial.

          • Perhaps, but I”d argue that by giving us hints, it allows us to speculate and question what the pokemon could be. Its the difference of saying nothing and showing us a silhouette of a pokemon. The silhouette at least gives us a vague idea of what the pokemon could be, which is better then nothing and points us in the right direction, even if their unclear.

But I get it. Not everyone’s going to like the leaker’s style. Personally I do since it does spring discussion as to what kinds of new pokemon we could see, but its cool.

    • if we can believe this this probably means that “marshadow” is event only (placement wise) and the third of the trio (box legends + ??) is some guy.. Aristoteles? Zeus? idk..

      Reply
      • Aristotle. Pretty much the founder of the concept of the five stages of matter, being solid, liquid, gas, plasma, and Aether.

    • Honestly, screw the riddler. He’s an arrogant leaker who holds his knowledge over the internet on a string and probably loves every second of it. However, this list did remind me how excited I am to see what the other island guardians look like! Especially the one depicted in the Mysterious Souvenir. The fact that GF teased that Pokémon all the way back in X/Y must mean there’s something special about it!

        • Part of me wants to believe that. But then he posts BS hints like the mace that VAGUELY resembles the tail of Kommo-o’s tail, or four possible pictures that resemble what Salandit’s evolution looks like.

          • While it does look vaguely like it, I would see it as a bigger hint of the scales making a sound, and having an attack based around it. if you’ve ever tried to walk with one of those staffs, the metal rings bounce around and make a klanging sound, much like Komoo-o’s scales do, so its kind of cleaver in a sense.

        • No he seems like kind of a jerk and apparently would prefer if people outside of China wouldn’t follow his leaks. It’s an odd situation he has. That said I don’t think he’s arrogant because he leaks in riddles or anything. It’s not about how he “dangles the info” more so how he represents himself when talking to others outside of his regular leaking.

          Reply
          • So he’s like most of the people of Asia; generally holding a distaste for westerners? I wouldn’t say that he’s so much a jerk as they come from a crappy culture. But that’s semantics I suppose.

    • So honest guesses to the new info:

Tucan pokemon. We all kind of assumed it, so that easy.

Firey thing. To me it looks like some plasma from the sun. So maybe some sort of sun/plasma pokemon. Probably a fire or steel type? Its a hard guess.

marshadow appears to be based off of some consolation, tough I couldn’t find any that it exactly looks like. Its shape looks like the Z-bracelet’s symbol, so perhaps that’s a hint?

The red x. I’m not certain what it could mean really. The character looks kind of like 关闭, which means closed. I not certain what that could mean. Perhaps saying those are the only UB’s, or perhaps something that closes things off? Like a ub that can disable things? I don’t know, their’s too much you can guess.

  5. I think I’ll run an RPG/Fantasy team for Pokemon Moon:
    – Rowlet3: the ranger, archer, etc…
    – Lurantis: the princely knight/king
    – Tsareena: the princess/Queen
    – Kommo-o: the fighter/martial artist
    – ???: priest/healer/magician
    – ???: warrior

  6. I actually retract my statement of Komala being the most forgettable pokemon. I’m gonna have to go with Togedemaru. I completely forgot about that bland pikaclone. I couldn’t even remember its name for a second and had to check its typing.

      • Literally from Type Null’s description: “It’s extremely heavy, so it also serves to hinder Type: Null’s agility” :p
It all makes perfect sense, it’s just a bit weird to get an evolution that feels more like a form change.
