I have a big issue with choosing grass type pkmn at first I choose Lurantis, then Morelull it looks derby (kinda creepy) and like those little creatures who appeared on fairy tale and the best part ut can use spore, and Tsareena is damin gorgeous with a good ability …..maybe I need to wait Morelull evolution.
if morelull have a good evolution im done. that would be another great grass pokemon
I’m calling RKS system, RCS system. I’ve always pronounced Arceus AAR-SEE-YUS, not AAR-KAY-US or AAR-KEE-US
I always thought it was Arceus like ‘Archaic’, also due to it’s Arcs.

I get that, it’s like pronouncing names like Scizor, because I always said it like Scyther.
I think Arceus comes from word Arche which is “the beginning” “the origin”,and it makes sense since Arceus is the Alpha Pokemon and alpha is associated with the beginning, the first.
Arceus also has Chaos in it if it considered RKS, and chaos is considered origin of the world.
Last but not least, “In the Orphic cosmogony, the unaging Chronos produced Aether and Chaos and made in divine Aether a silvery egg, from which everything else appeared.”
Silvery egg might explain Silvally.

You could always ask someone with Sun to evolve your Rockruff for you, perhaps evolving theirs in exchange. That’s a pretty nice team though, what type will you use for Silvally?
unless lycanroc is a friendship evo.
Even if it is you just need to up it’s friendship again, depends when you get stuff like Soothe Bell but probably wouldn’t take too long.
I do like Lycanroc midnight too. I’m getting both games so if I felt like it I could probably just transfer a Rockruff from Sun to get the midday form =P
I haven’t really thought about Silvally’s typing…maybe Fire or Electric I guess?
Electric or Fire would give you some good type coverage. Plus it looks cool with those types. I wonder how and when we get the things to change it’s type, and whether the Type Plates are still as available or if they become post-game.
That’s really a great thing about Silvally. I love Water and Ghost types too much so I end up with multiples of those types on my XYORAS teams, leaving me very vulnerable xD; so no matter whay, I got Silvally to cover whatever type I need for type coverage
If I were you, I would recommend either Pyukumuku or Kommo-O for the 4-way tie.
I like pyukumuku cuz his name is so funny XD and he’s cute! I do find the idea of it pretending to be all cute and then just straight punching you in the face to be hilarious mwahahaha!
Oh everything about Pyukumuku is so ridiculous yet hilarious. It’s concept, cry, and backstory always is funny. Which is why it earned a spot right away on my team XD
I also like Kommo-o. He’s quickly growing to my liking.

Same, although I’m disappointed we probably won’t be getting a griffin this time around, we got ourselves a Dragon/Fighting type. Screw the fairies, I’ve been waiting for this type combo for so long.
I love Dragon/fighting. Again, I really like Kommo-o, but I’m still salty about it not being a griffin. Oh well it’s still plenty badass.:p

my weird assumption was because Jangmo-o’s face looked like it had a bit of a beak, and then his scales looked more like feathers to me at first. Then I just see Griffin’s as proud creatures which is why I thought Jangmo-o’s dex entry fitted that as well.
You’re right about this, from the get go it was much MUCH more likely that Jangmo-o would end up as a badass warrior.
It’s pretty much after realising that this was the more likely outcome that I started liking Kommo-o much more =P

So that means type:null Hhhg as been with him for a while rather than being a recent addition I thought it was.

My theory is that young Gladion was with the Aether foundation but the desires of power in face of the fabled ultra beasts kinda screwed him up and stole Type: Null as his partner

In all seriousness Vikavolt would probably be a pretty good member of your team if its stats are up to scratch, it beats out Water-Types whilst being immune to inevitable Earthquake shenanigans.
The same is true for Pom Pom Oricorio, but let’s be honest. Would you ever use that? :p

I had a similar issue when I was making my ORAS shiny teams. Ghost types and Water types being my favourites, I often found myself destroyed by Dark types and Electric types

Any retro game you’d please, but there are some limitations, some emulator and roms could be laced with malware and some are just plain glitchy
I’ve used emulators before but it’s not the same experience as playing on the DS/3DS :/ I only really play nintendo portable console games, I don’t like consoles or computer games

Close Combat will be one of those lvl 0 moves that you need a heart scale to re-learn

Yeah, I think there is a chance at Iron Head or Iron Tail too. Also if it’s not exclusive to Alolan Exeggutor there’s that new Dragon Type move. Also Dragon Rush wouldn’t surprise me if it turned up somewhere on Kommo-O’s movepool.
yeah but the key to making a moveset is not to cram attack after attack, you need to thin it out with status moves and a few that you know it can do not what you want it to do
Perhaps these would appear as Egg Moves then. I feel Screech or Scary Face could be in there, as well as Pursuit and Counter.
i feel ya yeah but i try to limit to 10-15-20 moves and layer them neatly not just attack after attack
Yeah, I just feel like most of these I suggested could be Egg Moves, also Superpower. I’m imagining the breeding chains, Dragonite,, Haxorus, Salamence and Druddigon would provide most of these. I’m thinking Dragon/Monster egg group, or just Dragon.

They are typical egg moves that Pokemon in the dragon egg group can pass around.

You realise out of the 7 I listed, only two would actually see use, Superpower and Crunch. The rest are just moves that are typical egg moves, and will likely never see use. If you want to be happy, get rid of the fangs and throw in Endure and Supersonic
exactly you’re not, i on the other hand am and i just don’t see how a scale clad warrior could possible conjure up a gig-explosion of sound to damage its foes, and this thing is undoubtedly a physical attack, so why even bother putting it on there, just a aesthetic? its just not a compatible move
and no amount of scale clanging would ever amount to the sheer ferocity of Boomburst
That’s my point. Personally I see it being compatible with Boomburst only for aesthetic purposes, despite it being useless, which 80% of egg moves usually are.
Man, imagine the damage Kommo-o will do if it gets Superpower.
Given the general aesthetic of a lot of the Pokémon that GF has been giving Normal as a second typing to a lot of Pokémon the past few gens, does anyone else sometimes feel like Typhlosion looks like it should have been Fire/Normal?

You know, when I think about it, yeah it does like like a Fire/Normal type, and even its move pool reflects that
Pure Fire type is fine to me. Even though Typhlosion is one of the most boring starters, I can’t see it having any other dual typing.
I hope Kommo-o is a special focused fighting type… We really need a proper one of those (not counting Lucario, keldeo or the musketeers and infernape, most of whom are mixed attackers)

True, but most fighting type pokemon have descriptions that marvel at their strength and bravery and all. I only wondered because of the sound-focus perhaps… At least I hope it has a near-equal Sp. attack.
A mixed attacker could work, and yeah I guess you’re right on those. I do think it looks more physical though. We could do with a special attack focused fighting type.

Something I’d like to warn: the riddler was obviously wrong about certain things, so we shouldn’t trust him completely anymore. Sadly this means that his hint about battle frontier may be wrong as well. 🙁

Could’ve also justified a poison/psychic typing which would be unique

My first thought was Guzma, but then I thought because of Plumerias’ hair. Also if they give you their Z crystals I think Guzma’s would be Dark, and his ‘mon would have primary Dark typing.
Something I just realized. In the part with Hakamo-o it uses an uppercut move. Anyone know what that was? I feel like Sky uppercut would look a little more like it was going into….well the sky….This one however is just a regular uppercut.
I think it’s just Sky Uppercut, I guess there could be a new Uppercut move, but it would likely be weaker.
I guess. I just got the feeling Sky uppercut would make it look more like the Pokemon got hit into the sky like in the other games more.
I find ribombee quite underwhelming. Even though they showed a brief glance of it in a previous trailer I expected another evo (which hopefully will still happen). When cutiefly was revealed I was ecstatic as it’s first (bug) and second (fairy) favorite types of all types combined and I had (have) great expectations of it.
