  2. Booooooo!!!! So before the demo was announced I opened my availability at work so I could work in the mornings on Tuesday. In the past two weeks it hadn’t kicked in yet………but next week of course it does…….so I’ll have to wait until 120 before I can play the demo………

  3. What a shame I’m not near a Gamestop where I am.

Not that I’d have a full dex with Volcanion. I’m still missing Arceus and Meloetta.

  4. Only counting Pokemon we already know and their evolutions, we have 67 Pokemon (Alolan forms not included). Add in Alolan forms we know about and we get 77. Assuming Govnah’s estimation is correct, we have yet to see 43-53 new Pokemon.

      • I’m assuming they’ll be lower though because we’ve no way of knowing if the unknown Pokemon’s types overlap, so our calculations simply can’t be accurate. Therefore 53 is a maximum.

      • He has my trust as well. His info’s been good, and even factoring in some over lap, it seems safe to say the new pokemon range will be around 100. Though it does make me wonder with those form ranges. I’d assume for now that the low range is those we know about, and the large number is the total number. Like Normal is listed as 2-4. We know of only two normal pokemon that have any new form, but it could be possible that their are two more yet announced. This seems to follow along when you look at Grass, fire and Ice as well.

      • Yeah the riddler had my trust until now, but as a defence mechanism not to be disappointed I’m calling this too good to be true and reserving judgement.

          • “A snowman pokemon is overdue, perhaps its moves, will make icicles faaaaaaall!” That is the worse way to get someone to stop doing something fyi xPP

          • GGGRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHH
*My Hand shoots right through your arm (muscles and bone being stabbed right through) into the side of your chest and I pull up a large fistful of vocal cords and innards back out the entryway and on the exit more muscle tissue and bone get painfully dragged out*

          • *My eyes bulge wide open in shock, instinct wanting me to clutch at the injury, but find it too painful to move. As darkness starts to envelope my vision, I look at you and make a wet gurgling sound as the blood fills my lungs. As I begin to succumb to my injuries the vocal cords in your fist inexplicably make a sound that sounds like, “Ok byeeeeeee”* (You make me want to be the Deadpool to your Cable Earthen xDDDD)

    • True, but then we have the Alolan Sandshrew line and Alolan Vulipix line. Plus I would imagine there is at least one more Alolan form for another Pokemon that’s ice too, but that’s just speculation lol

  5. I missed the party on the other article so I’ll post this here:
I think ORAS best shows the problem with the number of new pokemon in XY. If you look at the Kanto Pokedex in the top screen, the screen is filled with sprites of Gen One pokemon. However, if you look at the Kalos pokedex, the number of pokemon barely cover the top half of the screen. I am really hoping that S/M doesn’t repeat this, seeing that made me a bit sad inside.

  6. the list makes me mad because Pikipek is in both Normal and flying with 3 meaning it could not gain the steel type 🙁

  7. Forget ice type, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO MY POOR POISON TYPE?!? One Pokemon other than Salandit and NO ALOLA FORMS? GF why have you done this? We have like 11 fairies so far!

    Reply
    • But what does the (0-5) thing mean then? And the question marks after salandit? And the (5-7) at the end? Am I the only one who thinks these are intervals and he’s not sure of the actual number, meaning we’re getting at least 5 new poison types after all?

      Reply
        • No but look more closely, it’s ??? (0-2) for the new pokémon and (4-6) for the forms, with (4-6) overall, as if the riddler’s not even sure there is a snowman but knows there are 2 ice types of unknown nature (meaning they could also be alola forms, thus 4-6 possible forms overall) left to be revealed!

  8. I hope this a hint towards this week’s trailer being titled
“More Pokemon Evolve in Alola” showcasing strictly some evolution
