The official Japanese Pokémon site has some interesting lines of code if you check their page on new and returning Pokémon coming in Sun & Moon. You can see to the right that they are broken up into different sections, which include Partners, Guardian Angels (guardian deity), and… Megas?!
Not only have new Mega Evolutions not been revealed for Pokémon Sun & Moon, but the only Pokémon listed is Magearna which has no known Mega Evolution to speak of. This is certainly an interesting twist which may mean nothing, but it may be something.

Kind of weird, because Magearna is actually the Heart thingy in the center, the body isn’t animate without it.
so since z-moves takes half the bottom screen, you have to choose between z-moves and megas confirmed? idk how to feel about this.
You’d have to choose between one of them, I think it’ll be restricted. And not every Pokemon can Mega evolve anyway.
It has to be holding a Z-Crystal revelant to its type (similarly to Mega Stones), so there’s no way you could have them both.
Yeah I think we’ve known about this for a bit. At least since they updated the site to its current form. The tag at the top of the page for Magearna had an error on it that said mega too instead of its name.

Like I said above, I guess that was a mistake. The heading says “Mythical Pokémon”. They probably just gave the wrong name to that section.

Side note: I had a dream that I saw all of the new Pokemon. I got this big Pokemon encyclopedia and it had pictures of all the new ones. I remember there were 110 new ones and that there was a salad pokemon. Its body was one of those plastic containers you get at a salad bar xD

Golem though a classic is very…..straightforward
Either just a crumbling wall to put up a Stealth Rock or the one shot kid with Weakness Policy bulked up by Sturdy which is only good to take out maybe one or two Pokemon but that’s really it
It’s yet another offensive rock type that would be good if it wasn’t bullied by the whole meta that is overblown with special attackers and walls so Golem just doesn’t have the chops to really make its mark
That’s why if they did make one its ability would be a hyper aftermath where it explodes doing 50% base health if knocked out with a attack which prompts players to either wear it down with status of risk it blowing it up and taking huge damage

So, we all know the last rumour was debunked when Gigareki was revealed to be a new GF game and not a pokémon. However, the same rumour talked about an event Meowth with Happy Hour being distributed at Worlds. While there has been no event Meowth at worlds, yesterday a Meowth with Happy Hour started being distibuted through Wi-fi for PAL games. So, how did the guy got that (mostly) right?

I think so too, but I would like for Megas to be a surprise and revealed a month before the games release so that don’t spoil them all (I’m looking at you ORAS)
