New Pokémon LEAKED Before Official Update

Although the official new trailers are expected tomorrow, someone it seems has gotten their hands on an early version of the video and leaked some of its contents.

  • Pyukumuku is the English name for Namakobushi and is a pure Water-type with the ability Innards Out
  • Alolan Raichu is now Electric/Psychic with the ability Surge Surfer which doubles its speed on Electric Terrain
  • Morelull is a new Grass/Fairy-type Pokémon with the abilities Illuminate & Effect Spore
  • Team Skull keeps its name from the Japanese versions and is led by Guzma, with Plumeria being a Team Admin.
  • Alolan Meowth is a Dark-type with the abilities Pick-up & Technician
  • Wishiwashi is the English name for Yowashi and its new ability is Schooling which activates when something reaches a certain level (HP? Stats?)
  • Alolan Marowak is now Fire/Ghost-type and has the abilities Lightning Rod & Cursed Body

  1. Is it strange that by looking at the anime and movies of Pokemon, the company seems to love the Blue’s line of the versions more than the red’s.

Such as Blue, Silver, Sapphire, Pearl, White, White 2, Y and Moon

  2. ~ My Verdicts on New Pokemon ~
    – Wishiwashi: Great concept, exceptional execution, and definitely a contender for one of the best designs thus far with the simple yet cute aesthetics of base form Wishiwashi and the menacing monstrosity that is School Form Wishiwashi, 4/5
    – Pyukumuku: Simple design with a great coloring scheme that truly works for the Pokemon, 3.5/5
    – Alolan Marowak: Possibly one of the best Alolan forms along with Ninetails and Vulpix with an EXCEPTIONAL color scheme and that fiery boomerang looks awesome, 4.5/5
    – Morelull: Good design, but mostly looking towards its potential evolution or split evolution, 3/5
    – Alolan Meowth: Awesome design that fares much, much better in-game than on paper and the colors work very well, 3.5/5
    – Alolan Raichu: Looks like a distant cousin of Mega Audino, but also manages to look cute as hell without the creepy eye factor involved, 3.5/5

  3. I feel like I’m the only one who’s not overly impressed with the alola forms they’ve revealed. Vulpix/Ninetails and Sandshrew/Slash are pretty good but idk, never was crazy about those pokemon to begin with, new typings or not.

  4. I know this is really off-topic but I’ve been playing a lot of Overwatch lately and I’ve got D.Va’s “Nerf This” catchphrase stuck in my head, so whenever I play competitive Pokemon and like I’m battling something like a Landorus or Mega Kang, I yell “Nerf This” at my 3DS.

  5. Have to say this evening has been brilliant. I actually forgot how much fun it is to get information bit by bit, instead of all at once in a video…I remember the days back when the X Y games were leaked a week early in Europe, that entire week was just like today. Good times.

    • *sigh* This night has made me realize that the surprise wouldn’t nearly be as much fun as watching it be leaked with you guys. I think I’ll hold out until the games release, this is fun.

      • Idk, as much fun as this is will all of you, if a copy of the games gets leaked early, I’m out. Plus, college starts back up for me soon, so I probably wont be on here much then….

        • I don’t know, I remember XY leak season to be really fun, so I’ll probably stay. Why fight my instincts? (#TeamMystic tho)
