Although the official new trailers are expected tomorrow, someone it seems has gotten their hands on an early version of the video and leaked some of its contents.
- Pyukumuku is the English name for Namakobushi and is a pure Water-type with the ability Innards Out
- Alolan Raichu is now Electric/Psychic with the ability Surge Surfer which doubles its speed on Electric Terrain
- Morelull is a new Grass/Fairy-type Pokémon with the abilities Illuminate & Effect Spore
- Team Skull keeps its name from the Japanese versions and is led by Guzma, with Plumeria being a Team Admin.
- Alolan Meowth is a Dark-type with the abilities Pick-up & Technician
- Wishiwashi is the English name for Yowashi and its new ability is Schooling which activates when something reaches a certain level (HP? Stats?)
- Alolan Marowak is now Fire/Ghost-type and has the abilities Lightning Rod & Cursed Body

Raichu looks fairy to me. But I think they thought there were too many in this gen already, so they went for the random typing instead.
Does this confirm Alola Cubone, Alola Persian, and Alola Pichu and Pikachu? It would be weird to have an Alola form for just one or two stages of a Pokemon species and not the whole line considering these have all been triggered due to the influx of climactic and atmospheric changes through adaptation. And then there’s Exeggcute but I don’t think you could really change eggs.

Pichu is a fan favourite and Pikachu is too iconic to change for an entire region. Raichu needs some alone time attention. Its not uncommon for the first evos to remain the same like exeggcute. We can catch a pikachu in the wild early on so i guess we’ll have to wait and see

I would say if the evolution has a completely changed typing then the pre evo also has a changed typing. Pokemon that keep their typing to some degree like Exeggutor keeping grass will probably have regular pre evos

Speculation time about the Alola Forms.
I think that there won’t be a form for Pikachu and I also think that the same applies to Marowak.
For example, Meowth is the first stage, like Vulpix and Sandshrew and of course that the evolution will be different.
But I think that in Raichu’s case, Pichu and Pikachu will be the same and only Raichu will change. Remember that we saw footage of Pichu with the rival.
They will be like Alolan Exeggutor. Exeggcute had the normal typing and it only changed in the evolution.
By the way, what if Cubone is Ground-Type and has to evolve and faint in the same battle, in order to evolve?
I doubt they’ll change evolution methods, that would be fiddly to implement and unintuitive to players. Not to mention that’s not the point of an Alolan form.
