Although the official new trailers are expected tomorrow, someone it seems has gotten their hands on an early version of the video and leaked some of its contents.
- Pyukumuku is the English name for Namakobushi and is a pure Water-type with the ability Innards Out
- Alolan Raichu is now Electric/Psychic with the ability Surge Surfer which doubles its speed on Electric Terrain
- Morelull is a new Grass/Fairy-type Pokémon with the abilities Illuminate & Effect Spore
- Team Skull keeps its name from the Japanese versions and is led by Guzma, with Plumeria being a Team Admin.
- Alolan Meowth is a Dark-type with the abilities Pick-up & Technician
- Wishiwashi is the English name for Yowashi and its new ability is Schooling which activates when something reaches a certain level (HP? Stats?)
- Alolan Marowak is now Fire/Ghost-type and has the abilities Lightning Rod & Cursed Body

so I’ve been thinking. This gen we are getting a lot of very interesting abilities. I’ve always thought that abilities don’t always have to be useful, but they should always be interesting. I find stuff like Wishiwashi’s ability super cool. We still don’t know all the details, but It’s very different from other abilities and that’s a plus for me.lol

Last night (I kid you know 100% telling the truth) I had a Sun and Moon Dream
I was in some old gigantic sepia tone building maybe a mall, I was wandering around and found a GameStop, they had copies of Sun out but for whatever force compelled me I couldn’t buy or even steal it, and it was sealed and had the game card in it, I tried to take it but it wouldn’t budge, then I found a prima guide for it, I flipped back and tried to see any info but the pages were blank or smudged, I found myself at a list of Pokemon only a few images were intact, namely an unknown green cannon elephant, a bat thing (not Lunala) and Litten and Popplio’s Evos the wrestler and mermaid, the names were blanked out but the types weren’t…..what I read shocked me Fire/Dark and Water/Fairy
And that’s all I remember
I’m sure I’ve seen a canon elephant somewhere before but I can’t remember where. My instincts say Lilo and Stich or a fakemon.

All I’m hoping for is for them not to reveal all new mons before the games are out. What they’ve done with the Megas in ORAS was horrible imo, wouldn’t want that to happen again.
I doubt they’d stop revealing new mons but they may simply just decrease the numbers in which they reveal them in. But i agree it was annoying that all the new megas were introduced before the games came out
I honestly don’t mind, I like planning my team before I play my game and I rarely like to switch out mons, so the more I know about the better 🙂

All the yes to this. I’m still boggled that they thought it was a good promotion strategy. Tbh I think what hit hardest was to discover X and Y only had 72 new pokémon and thus there were only 20-30 left to discover, and that was before the week-early leaks.
And for ORAS, they didn’t just spoil all the megas, they spoiled the delta episode and the fact you could catch deoxys. Nice going, it’s not like it would have been an amazing surprise to fans to get such an involving postgame out of nowhere…

Something interesting I saw @PJ mention on Twitter is that Hau will likely get an Alolan Raichu by the end of the game. Since he has a Pichu when you battle him at the ceremony thing. Makes sense to me and I’d be down with that hahaha

I mean I think both Pichu and Pikachu will be the same as they ever were. The only difference is whether it evolves into the Alolan version of Raichu. So in some way I think it’d be hard to tell them apart without evolving first….I’m not sure if they would do that lol

But not as much as XY because that was the first game I actually checked news on (for a Pokemon game) and not as hype as ORAS because Ruby was my lyfe back then. This game is getting really close to being as hyped as XY, not as much as ORAS tho, nothing can beat that xD
