Not only the Poké Riding, but at least with the leaked Starter Evolutions we can clearly see one of the Trial Captains in the art, and the final evolution of Litten is probably holding two of its middle evolutions.

- The diamond stones will be collectible throughout the region and act similarly to Mega Stones but not exactly
- New Pokémon based on a dolphin, sea cucumber, snowman, mushroom and a rugby monkey are there

This whole Alaolan version is quite intriguing, especially seeing how it works in the long run with other gens. At this point it seems it is gen I reduced.
Still I’m eager to see Water Growlithe. That should be a blast.
I hope it looks kind of like a Portuguese Water Dog, I don’t know how they would incorporate that into growlith though….. Maybe it will just be blue but I hope they are more creative than that.
Im assuming it will have fluffy whit fur around its head and such (both growlith and arcanine) that kind of resembles a gentle seafoam
I assume all those white parts will have an aquatic feel . Design wise they don’t change much. But I assume it will be a more Dark Blue.

OMG I am SO hyped for these games! They look wonderful! These changes to the formula make the games look so fresh and new! I can’t wait to explore the Alola reagon! I think at this point I am a ton more hyped than I was for X and Y and Black and White!

I think Game Freak read my mind. A few years ago I came up with an alternate form for both Vulpix, and Pikachu and they were both Ice type, well Ice/fire, and Ice/Electric. OMG This is sooo awesome. And all these alternate forms. LOL I guess I’m going to be spending even more time on my Yellow/Red versions, catching duplicates of certain Pokemon. 😀 OMG All this info (Including the proof that the final evolutions ARE IN FACT REAL XD XD XD ) is making me so damn happy. <3 The only disappointment for me, is the no more gyms thing. But on the plus side of that, this new island challenge thing sounds awesome. 😀

I don’t do much competitive, so in-game, you can switch out easily.
And from what I do see in comp (I watch some comp Poketubers), you can switch out to counter something, it’s just complicated cause you have to predict your opponent.
Plus, every Pokemon has a weakness, so it’s something you expect with any Pokemon really.
Maybe the plant is imitating the mantis, which is why it’s not Grass/Bug.

Gumshoos and its prevo look nothing like Trump. Gumshoos is actually based on a private eye detective. If you look closely, it looks like it has a detective’s coat and cap. Its name comes from “Gumshoes”, which is a nickname for a private eye detective.

Electric is by no means a weak type. It is one of the last types that need a buff.
in terms of damage its a meh type. Its mostly used as a status dealing type and thats it.
LOL sorry but I have to disagree with you on that one. Electric types have way to many weakness’ for my tastes. I love using Pikachu, but it seems like almost EVERYTHING can knock it out. 🙁
But as a type, Electrics only have Ground as a weakness.

I think there’s multiple trials, so there might be mutliple totems per island.
Plus it says directly ‘It is the Totem Pokemon of Lush Forest, the site of an Akala Island trial’ It’s just the Totem Pokemon of that trial/place, not of the island itself.

I’m saying my Mamoswine runs Expert Belt which increases Super Effective moves by 20% so add that with a 4x Weakness add in Mamoswine’s 130 Base attack and Ice Shard gets a Stab (Mine’s Adamant) so it will most likely kill anyone sporting an ice Weakness

Nope. They could only be found in the Safari Zone, which features all imported Pokemon. That said, by the time the events of Gen 2 took place, it did settle in the region, as well as Johto, likely being set free after the Safari Zone closed.

I think some of us don’t like having an HM slave as a 6th slot on our team. It limits what favorites we want to use in game
