Not only the Poké Riding, but at least with the leaked Starter Evolutions we can clearly see one of the Trial Captains in the art, and the final evolution of Litten is probably holding two of its middle evolutions.

- The diamond stones will be collectible throughout the region and act similarly to Mega Stones but not exactly
- New Pokémon based on a dolphin, sea cucumber, snowman, mushroom and a rugby monkey are there

Wait maybe this means we will get ‘new’ eevee evolutions after all:

Flareon becomes flying
Vaporeon becomes dragon
That doesn’t make sense though. What makes Jolteon, well, Jolteon, is the fact that it absorbed the power of lightning. If it’s ground or rock it’s not a Jolteon at all. It would make more sense to just make a new eeveelution.

That’s different. It was a Sandshrew back when it was first brought to Alola and over time adapted to the ice. Eevee into Jolteon is an abrupt change brought on by a thunderstone.

Flareon are found in the highlands of Alola where it’s windy. It is flying type.

According to the Alola descriptions we’ve been receiving, the climate and overall environment can change Pokemon forms and enable new typings so I wouldn’t be surprised.
yeah but if they gave new eevees they would basically just be new eeveelutions, so I’m like 99% sure eevee won’t get alolan variants, maybe just some evolutions but not variants

The formula had become dull and stale. Refreshment and innovation was needed to keep the franchise alive.
There are other ways. Gyms are so fun and exciting. We’ll have to see how/if they stack up
I was actually never excited about gyms. They feel almost a different variation of the same thing (do some puzzle-ish thing and battle). I like the trial idea and wonder if it’s going to make it feel like LoZ and fight the boss at the end.
You basically have to build your own league, like the leaks hinted at.

fake STARTER EVOLUTIONS
Uh. Mallow from the trailers is there cooking with Fire3 (Litten’s final evo). Also, the Chinese leaker, which is 95% right confirmed them.
Favorite travelling companions BASED on character, involvement, impact, and potential:
1. May: had the best character arcs of any travelling girls and went from a shy, uncertain new trainer to a competant and competitive young lady who, by the end of the series was one of the mkst fully fleshed characters of the group
2. Misty: personality, drive, and was simply badass with a great character arc and developed a true friendship with Ash and is now more successful than he is
3. Dawn: a watered down version of May who somehow managed to carve out her own niche and sas the most Ash-like girl companion to date and I somehow see her as a battler more than a coordinator and her rivalry with Zoey and depression arc was lit AF and ACTUALLY talked with Ash’s other friends and communicated with them…
4. Serena: pleasant albeit a little too much so and her character arc, although rushed showed her potential and her hair cutting scene was pure perfection
5. Iris: bratty, no real character development (in the games she was superb), and all around a bland shtick version of the amazing character in the games that many people loved
Lurantis nears perfection, but those cringeworthy clown pants makes it a 8/10 instead of a 10/10.
I actually like the pants… O///O
