  1. I hope we get as good a variety of Pokémon before gym 2 as we did in BW2 and XY ! That was one of the best things about those games! So much variety 😀

    • I just want something
Usually by this time I could haves pretty good idea of what Pokemon I want
Like for instance the moment I saw Pancham I wanted it

    • I am so exited for this region it looks great!

Also that blue building at the bottom looks to be the one from the sketch I think 🙂

    • I’m actually really really excited for Sun and Moon! They’re saying there’s going to be a bunch of new Pokemon so hopefully around 80-100

    • Thank you for posting some clear images of these areas! The artificial island might be the Pokemon League, but to me it looks like some sort of post game battle resort. I think the E4 will be found on top of that icy mountain on the largest island. I can kind of make out what could be victory road, which is something the artificial island does not have.

    • You do realize that the sun does not actually contain fire right? A common misconception people tend to make. There’s not enough oxygen in space to create flames.

          • So? That doesn’t mean a sun-based pokemon should be a fire type. Like I said, the absence of oxygen in space makes it impossible to create flames or fire.

          • The sun is mostly helium (He – which is flammable). The gravitational force works against the force that’s “flinging” particles. This generates friction which generates heat (release of energy from frictional force). That’s just for one atom of He. Now, multiply that by the volume of the sun. All that friction and heat will make flames (fire).

O2 isn’t required as there are more flammable elements out there. O2 is just versatile as it has a high electronegativity.

  2. Which starter do you think is gonna be Ash’s in the anime? Since the water one is basically out of the equation I think he’s coming back to the good ol’ fire type.

  3. Verlis is really getting on my nerves. Now he actually thinks Burst Hearts will appear in Sun and Moon, even though ReBurst’s target audience were the more adult pkmn fans, and the games’s target audience are kids. Cringeworthy individual that guy

  4. So if the league is on an artificial island, does that mean Victory Road is inside a building (artificially created), or is there going to be a different pre-league challenge?

  5. Lillie gives me a N and Mitsumi from the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Adventures manga series vibe. I feel as though she’ll be a really competent trainer who is integral to the summoning of Lunala or Solgaleo and is used by the antagonistic team and you have to save her with Hau.

  6. Pretty awesome news! Rottom Dex is perfect! There seems to be a lot going on in the region and I can’t wait to see more!

  7. I’m late, but has anyone thought of that tree and the connection to xerneas, yveltal, and zygarde yet? I know their myth is based upon a tree of life just kind of interesting to me. This trading card game commercial came to mind as it shows zygardes connection to trees/ nature. Maybe zygarde and its forms will come into play? To me it also appears like a light is shining in this area highlighting its importance (or it could just be a thin cloud) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnjPfOSyog4

    • Well this actually might play out in the anime
Flare is harnessing the energy from Z2 which is the second Zygarde Core and demonstrated the energy was harnessed into a beam that causes wild excelerated plant growth, but honestly when do these TCG ever line up with the canon

  8. Guys! My Entomology professor is awesome! She is letting my group do a project on the anatomy of bug Pokemon!

  9. So everyone is saying that the artificial island is probably the pokemon league. But the thing is, when something seems very likely, it’s probably not going to happen. This is something that I’ve learned with Game Freak. The likely is unlikely.

Now, I would love a futuristic artificial Victory Road, but I don’t know if Game Freak would something that obvious. However, I don’t see a Pokemon League looking building anywhere else.

  10. Theory/TeaTime

Lillie is the daughter of the main villain of Sun and Moon and she is an undercover agent for them and pretending to be the assistant of the Professor while she stealing all the files for the evil organization but at the end she will have a epiphany and turn into a good girl

  11. also tea! that pokedex rotom better be used in battle. it was about time they made the bulky electric/ghost rotom

  12. Reading your theories and thinking about what I would want to have in sun/moon: more poison pokemon (that aren’t bug); the possibility to use dive outside battle; more fat and dark skinned characters (maybe a black champion) and the possibility of choosing the difficulty level.

    • I too have been interested in Poison Types recently but since this is an odd number we’re getting a two staged poison blob fersure
