The day you’ve all been waiting for is finally here! (Aside from those of us who have to wait just a little longer.) The first stage of the release for Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire starts today, fans in the US, Japan and Australia can finally get their hands on the game after years of wishful hoping, and months of anticipation. Trainers in Europe can expect to get their mitts on the games when they release on November 28.
For those of you who have already picked up the game, we hope you are enjoying it! In this article we invite all of our readers, whether old or new to join in and discuss the games. What starter Pokémon will you/have you chosen? What are you most looking forward to in the games? How are you celebrating the release (outside of playing the games, obviously!)

I must have gotten really lucky, i think i sr’d 6 times and even when i caught it i was down to my last pokemon 😛
Can’t wait to catch it later, as a shiny (hopefully its not shiny locked ;-;). I reset after i caught it and killed it, but i wanted to say I caught it already 😛

LOL. I had a difficult time catching it too. I kept accidentally killing it.
You should probably just kill it and have it respawn and catch it later after E4. Easier to SR with all of those cutscenes gone. 🙂

They can have up to 3 max ivs I believe.

Yeah, but that’s luck. There’s a higher chance for them to have three, but there’s still a chance for six, like any Pokemon. It just won’t show on the bottom screen.

Yeah, But I like having my party pokemon be competitively viable too. Its so satisfying when your in game team can go up against competitive ones and have a chance. Its also a bit more of a challenge to catch them! I hope Skarmory isn’t as rare as he was in the original games. He is only 5%
For example: I transferred over a Prankster Sableye from my Black for my second play through.
I bred my shiny buneary with IV’s. But it didn’t get attack so I bred another for competitive! 😀 2 Shiny bunearies!
What I mean is, you should go Dexnav for Brave Bird because it will help you in the story. Then once tutor is available you can give it Stealth Rock later. 🙂
