The day you’ve all been waiting for is finally here! (Aside from those of us who have to wait just a little longer.) The first stage of the release for Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire starts today, fans in the US, Japan and Australia can finally get their hands on the game after years of wishful hoping, and months of anticipation. Trainers in Europe can expect to get their mitts on the games when they release on November 28.
For those of you who have already picked up the game, we hope you are enjoying it! In this article we invite all of our readers, whether old or new to join in and discuss the games. I get that your search level goes up relative to how many of that pokemon you’ve seen, but i don’t get how to actually search for a pokemon… For example, im at Route 118 and i haven’t caught Keckleon (but i’ve seen it), and i can’t search for it. Is there any way to search for it using some other method?
I think you have to have caught one first. Then you can search for them

So…has anyone confirmed if/if not the old sandy hill egg hatching trick (from R/S/E) still works?
What’s that?
Those sandy hill ledge things that you can only ride up w/mach bikes. If you run up one (just by walking/running/using an acro bike), it would count as stepping. You would slide down and repeat the process, thus not needing to actually move anywhere. Really handy for afk hatching/leveling up pokemon (in day-care) 😛
