JungleTalk: Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire

The day you’ve all been waiting for is finally here! (Aside from those of us who have to wait just a little longer.) The first stage of the release for Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire starts today, fans in the US, Japan and Australia can finally get their hands on the game after years of wishful hoping, and months of anticipation. Trainers in Europe can expect to get their mitts on the games when they release on November 28.

For those of you who have already picked up the game, we hope you are enjoying it! In this article we invite all of our readers, whether old or new to join in and discuss the games. What starter Pokémon will you/have you chosen? What are you most looking forward to in the games? How are you celebrating the release (outside of playing the games, obviously!)

    I’ve bought both copies and i’ve only opened only Ruby
    I first chose Torchic in spirit of my original one i had when i was a child but turns out it was Modest so i…. soft reset and chose Mudkip but still got hindering natures
    but i set off on my journey
    I hope to just enjoy the story and further my competitive career
    and i’ve found my first wild shiny!!!

  7. I chose Treecko because it was my first Pokemon ever and I love it. It was literally love at first sight when I first bought Original Ruby version and saw it on the side of the box xD My first Treecko was Rash nature (Coincidentally enough, I believe that’s the best nature for Mega Sceptile). So in light of that I soft reset for a Rash nature Treecko in Omega Ruby

  13. I live in the UK and therefore i have both pre-ordered in steelbook editions for next week but managed to download Omega Ruby from the Australian e-shop last night. I chose to play Omega Ruby first since most of the leakers seemed to be playing Alpha Sapphire so i thought a change would be good.. i chose Mudkip as my starter and i have decided that for the first time in many years that i am going to catch everything as i go along therefore it is taking me a while but i have caught everything up to the point i am at which is:

    Just got my 1st badge with a playtime so far of 5 hours and 20 minutes (2 of those hours was spent looking for Quick Feet Shroomish and another with Drain Punch to breed later on ).
    As i said i am not having a set team per say and am rotating in order to catch em all (ah the nostalgia)…

    My Team as of right now is:
    – Marshtomp Lvl: 17
    – Poochyena Lvl: 14
    – Seedot Lvl: 13
    – Beautifly Lvl: 12
    – Dustox Lvl: 12
    – Zigzagoon Lvl: 11

    Total Pokemon Caught so far: 17

    As it stands i am catching everything available using the Dexnav as i go along and therefore am training things to evolve them and will then rotate.
