Yet again, Pokemon of Japan’s YouTube channel has just revealed three brand new trailers for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire that showcase some new and quite stunning footage.
The first trailer showcases footage of Maxie and Archie in the Oceanic Museum, alongside some remixed battle music. It also confirms that TV Reporters Gabby and Ty will be returning, and some remixed route music is also present at that portion of the trailer. Finally, some footage of Roxanne’s Gym and Sydney’s Elite 4 room are showcased.
The second trailer showcases the part of the game where the plater character is prompted to choose his or her starter Pokemon, as well as the very first battle with May.
Finally, the last trailer showcases the player character’s house, his/her first encounter with the rival, Cycling Road (the Trick House seems to be present), bike tricks, the Oceanic Museum again, and footage from Route 120 when Steven gives the player character the Devon Scope. You can also hear some some remixed Littleroot Town music.

Like, watching the comparison clips and these trailers reignited my nostalgia way more than these past months combined.
The nostalgia factor will be too dang high when I play through these.
Luckily I got off wrk for the 21st and 22nd so I can spend basically all of both days playing! It’ll b exactly like when I was a kid!!! lol
I’m coming home that weekend. I will not leave my room. My parents and my bff will wonder what is wrong with me as I sing Hoenn music and play it nonstop with no sleep.
Pokemon Ruby’s actually my very first Pokemon game.. Before playing Ruby, I thought the games were sort of 2D adventure platformers and you travel with Pikachu or whatever xD
Emerald is the one I played the most. Hoenn has the music I know the most and the region I know the most.
I may love Sinnoh very much, but it cannot uproot the part of my heart devoted to Hoenn.
I don’t remember much about playing 2nd gen and I never finished Yellow. But Yellow has the same feel to me….it’s just not very strong.
Emerald is the one I completed the most amount of times. I looooove Sinnoh too, probably my favourite region but I just can’t sit down and play it unlike Emerald. Maybe it’s cuz 4th gen is so slow, which I’ve never even noticed when I was a kid haha
Never played 1st and 2nd, 5th is sort of meh, tried to play it over and over again but it really gets boring

In regards to Mawile’s question about why Alpha Sapphire is featured in all of these new trailers–that is because Pokemon’s Japanese YouTube also published three trailers exactly the same as these, except from the old Ruby and Sapphire. At the end of those three trailers, Omega Ruby’s boxart was showcased.

Honestly I predict A Kanto Remakes/sequel/prequel before Sinnoh Remakes because at this rate Sinnoh Will Still be playable on the systems
Kanto region (not including Johto going to Kanto) is the only region not playable on the newest Handheld Nintendo console
But it’s not needed. It’s already been remade, all the Kanto Pokemon is catchable elsewhere, and what is the point of remaking it really? It doesn’t make sense to me to remake it.

I also personally think they’re saving Volcanion for those games. It’s Fire/Water typing is the embodiment of Pkmn Red/Blue. I can imagine them revamping the storyline a bit… to explain that Volcanion is the one who erupted Cinnabar Island.

I am so sick of Kanto. Not to sound mean, but I kind of hate it now. I never want to see it again. They can’t do Kanto Reremakes because what would the mascots be? Mega Charizard ___ and Mega Venusaur? Seems redundant.
Although if Kanto was to get revisited, we would definitely have to get a second set of starters. Maybe Sinnoh or Unova starters. Cause we just played with the damn Kanto starters in XY.
Riding the SS Anne in 3D would be cool. Lavender Town would be scarily dope. Rock Tunnel could be made to look like an actual tunnel. Maybe see a Mega Lapras, Mega Raticate, Mega Fearow XD

-Games are glitchy a heck
-pokemon designs are generic
