Yet again, Pokemon of Japan’s YouTube channel has just revealed three brand new trailers for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire that showcase some new and quite stunning footage.
The first trailer showcases footage of Maxie and Archie in the Oceanic Museum, alongside some remixed battle music. It also confirms that TV Reporters Gabby and Ty will be returning, and some remixed route music is also present at that portion of the trailer. Finally, some footage of Roxanne’s Gym and Sydney’s Elite 4 room are showcased.
The second trailer showcases the part of the game where the plater character is prompted to choose his or her starter Pokemon, as well as the very first battle with May.
Finally, the last trailer showcases the player character’s house, his/her first encounter with the rival, Cycling Road (the Trick House seems to be present), bike tricks, the Oceanic Museum again, and footage from Route 120 when Steven gives the player character the Devon Scope. You can also hear some some remixed Littleroot Town music.

I dont know why some people don’t like may’s new encounter theme… it sounds a bit more girly but i love it and it uses the same instruments as the original I think, just the original was more digital sounding. The old magma and aqua theme was a bit bland and not really threatening… but this. THIS. damn.

The days feel like they’re getting slower and slower the closer and closer we get to getting ORAS. In other news, for those who didn’t know, there are two secret missions in the demo. The first one is a mission where you go to a new island with no wild Pokemon and you team up with May to fight an admin and grunt from Team Ruby or Team Aqua. It’s random which team you get to fight. After playing it the first time, you have the option to do it again in the menu when you select to go on an adventure or check out your transferable items. The other secret mission has you go to a new island that only was Shroomish as a wild Pokemon. Once you reach the only patch of grass on the island, talk to the man there and he gives you a nugget which can transfer and the mission is complete. You may or may not be able to do the mission again to get another nugget. If you’ve played the demo for about 2 weeks, you seem to have a chance at getting the missions but they’re still rare as I’ve only gotten the nugget mission.
P.S. Is anyone else wondering about what they may reveal in this month’s Corocoro? Since the games come out this month, I bet that the reveal would have to be something epic but as they’ve revealed a lot of mega evolutions so far, it would have to be something else.

What I’m really loving about the music is how faithful it is to the original. They are remasters rather than new versions which i think is great because it provides the nostalgia without sacrificing the modern sound.
Just saw that the European release of Smash U has been pushed forward a week, to the same date as ORAS. The 28th will be the best day ever lol

actually, these videos are meant to be watched side by side with three videos that show the exact same footage, but then all played in the original pokemon ruby and sapphire. At the end of those videos, it shows omega ruby.
