Pokemon’s Japanese YouTube channel has uploaded three new Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire trailers that showcase a bit of new footage. The first and second trailers are merely 30 seconds long and features mostly unimportant footage that we have seen before.

However, the third trailer shows off some new footage, most notably of the Abandoned Ship, Hoenn at nighttime, Mega Evolving Latios/Latias before heading off to Soar, and Mega Rayquaza at the Sky Pillar, It also showcases some older footage of some of the new Mega Evolved Pokemon, Super Secret Bases, Mega Rayquaza, Contests and more. There was also a small preview of the Victory Road music in one of the trailers.

I agree! The best part was watching the player Mega Evolve Latios in the middle of the air! But also, what was that all about with Rayquaza! The green bean going all the way up to the sky made me think about one theory! Rayquaza can Mega Evolve on its own but when you catch it you the Mega Stone will be made for you to use because in the reveal trailer of Mega Rayquaza it says “Mega Stone obtainable in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Pokémon Alpha Sapphire” because you’ll be able to bond with it! And also Mega Rayquaza is now tied with Mega Mewtwo X/Y for the strongest Pokémon in BST!
This might be true. Yet, Rayquaza was shown with a Black Stone. I’m guessing this is the “original” Mega Stone. It’s highly the Stone that Mega Stones are created from. Hence; it’s glowing and vibrant colours. Rayquaza highly plays a part in this! (Refresh; Also, the image is from Mega Evolution Act 2.)

Hey I never said I hated it, it just that it moves slower than Hoenn. Being that D/P were the first Pokemon games on the DS, it’s kind of understandable.
Everything about sinnoh was slow,

Even so there are clear divisions within the RPG genre.

I’m assuming he wasn’t actually serious, but here’s my totally serious take on it anyway lol. Pokémon is one of the cornerstones of Nintendo and a worldwide phenomenon (and has been for close to 20 years). The only way Pokémon will ever end is when they stop making money off of it. And based on the small sample size of the Pokémon fanbase here, that’s not happening anytime soon.

The first one I was really attached to was Torchic.
Going through Hoenn again with him/her is going to be so nostalgic.

Most people seem to have started their pokemon journey with either gen 1 or 3 and some with 2… guess I came late to pokemon. I started with d/p and then went back and played the others… I guess I just have different “fond memories” of pokemon than others.

Started with gen 1, came back during gen 4. Rediscovering it was one of the best things to happen to me. “Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect.”
Yeah I actually got interested during gen 3, but at that time, accessibility was low… finally when my dad was going to the US, I asked him to bring me a game boy advance so with pokemon emerald. I even wrote it on a piece of paper. He comes back with a ds and diamnd. He said he lost the paper and just asked for pokemon! :’D

I actually began in the time of gen 4, with a game from gen 3 that was a remake of a game from gen 1. (LG) :p
