Shiny Gengar & Diancie Distribution Coming to the West

Two new GameStop distributions have been announced for the United States. They coincide with the release of the new TCG expansion, Phantom Forces, and the lead-up to Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. I’m sure there are a lot of fans celebrating that we finally get these events 😀 If someone picks up an extra codes for me, uh, that’d be awesome.

  • Shiny Gengar holding Gengarite will be distributed from October 13 – 26 via code card
  • Diancie will be available October 27 – November 16 via code card

UPD: They have also been announced for the UK, with GAME being the participating retailer. The promotion will run from October 15th until November 5th for the Gengar and November 6th until November 28th (ORAS release date) for Diancie. Other countries like France, Belgium, Germany,… will have it too at the equally scummy equivalent of Gamestop.

Here are some press shots of the new TCG theme decks and boosters:

  1. The cool thing about whether teams is having that ace in the hole Prankster Pokemon that can set up the weather once the main weather setter has been taken out.

I used Sunny Day Sableye on Showdown and it was amazing. Also couple that with a Growth Victreebell/Venusaur….and it’s GG

  2. I saw the Nintendo Treehouse thing at school and I jumped up and down in excitement. I expect at least one newcomer and one veteran announcement, the release date of Captain Toad and Smash Bros. U, and some more information on 2015 titles like Splatoon and Zelda. Maybe we’ll even get the game’s title! I also expect at least one new game reveal, but that might be a stretch.

  3. Am I the only one that has always thought that Sharpedo was a full bodied shark that was just curving its body? I didn’t realize it was so short…..

  4. I am really looking forward to 2015’s Wii U game line-up. Yoshi’s Woolly World literally looks amazing, Splatoon hype cannot be put into words, and Zelda is one step above that. Then there’s Kirby, freaking STAR FOX, and Xenoblade Chronicles X (hopefully Xenoblade 3DS comes out before that!) It’s a great time to be a Nintendo fan.

  5. The various reasons:

-Machamp: Promoted in 2 trailers. Rising Fists and the Pokken Fighters trailers against Mega Lucario.
    -Camerupt/Sharpedo: Archie/Maxie’s Mains
-Jyxn & Kecleon: Retrademarked along with a bunch of other Pokemon that previously received megas.
-Flygon: Latest trailer shows off the main lady with her mega altaria side by side with Arune who is speculated to have Mega Flygon
    -Milotic: Gyarados Counterpart.
-Glalie – receives a mega and Froslass doesn’t XD
-Cacturne – shown battling a Mega Salamence in latest trailer while Bannette (a poke that can mega) was also shown battling Mega Lopunny
