Usually for Play throughs I stick with like 4-5 pokemon. This is the first time I used all 6 because of how easy the leveling was.

Was just reading the comments and wanna add my own 2 cents on the breeding in-game team ahead of time xD I don’t see the issue honestly, it’s your Pokemon and if you wanna go through with a competitive team go right ahead xD Personally I have several Pokemon I’ll be transferring over to use on my in-game team. I have a Shiny Nosepass with HP Fire and the right IVs that hatched accidentally, I have a Shiny Horde Swablu from Jordin that he found for me to use in ORAS, and I have a Shiny Treecko bred for me by MewMew that I want to use too. I don’t care that they’re IV’d, they’re special Pokemon to me and I want to use them on an in-game journey 😛
we dont care if ya use them ingame reallly just if you hold a tourney of all ingame teams used
its unfair to the people who dont wanna bring pokemon over and use only pokemon caught in ORAS
And we’re most definitely be battling each other with our in-game teams so if yours might be shiny 4-6IV and Supertrained right off the bat that’s a major disadvantage
exactly if thats the case with half of these people, ill sty out of the tourney and relax in the post game
But its not unfair because everyone has the same opportunity to do so. Its your choice if you do or not, and because we all are able to make that choice its not unfair xD

I could understand 1 maybe even two shinies like the Treecko and Swablu but where’s the fun in catching your team on the road that lies ahead?
I’m gonna use a shiny Buneary i hatched the other day; it has klutz, calm nature, no egg moves, and probably has 1 Iv, but i could care less 😛
yep its has 1iv so its like catchign it in game
i might do that with my shiny mudkip or treecko
The reason I don’t do this is because it makes the game easier when you have perfect IVS (possibly EVs), and egg moves the Pokemon cannot normally learn.
But it bothers me very little, you can do what you like. I’m going to stick to my method of catching Pokemom as I go through.
I don’t mind if someone uses IV pokes as long as they don’t Super Train or EV train them. But I will do as I naturally do and just catch my Poke’s in-game again.
It’s more fun that way in my opinion. Running around route 102 for hours trying to catch my Ralts with a 5% encounter rate. Good times

I really only do it for shinies xD I intended on using Nosepass in ORAS and when the shiny one hatched completely by surprise, I decided I was using it in ORAS. And then Swablu and Treecko were gifts and because they’re Pokemon I was going to use as well, I want to use them too 🙂

Alos accroding to r/s we get a good rod on route 118 which is right after we beat norman aka 5th gym
sweet. I have to search up fishing routes on Serebii’s pokearth and see what wild encounters are possible with good route so I can really have a definite poke in mind.

Yes that’s what I was trying to remember. You need that scanner so you swap it for a Deepsea Tooth or Deepsea Scale.
This was also why I didn’t use Ludicolo in game because the only Water Stone available in game was in the Abandoned Ship

Theory time, the reason why Serena has no character development whatsoever is because of Gen 6.5.. What if the Kalos adventures will be cut short and Ash & Co. move to another region, the one the backpacker talks about, where Pokemon contests are a thing and Serena finds an interest in contests and become (yet another) coordinator? They would have to give her some character then. A little farfetch’d but who knows? xD
The reason she doesn’t have character development is cos she is a robot designed by Clemont. I thought this was obvious….

If your pokemon was above 50 then it can’t participate in the 50 level part it HAD to go to Open level Which means you couldn’t Use Pesudo Legendaries in the 50 level portion, so I just want to make so if your pokemon is above 50 or below 50 it would automatically Lower or raise the level to 50
I leveled everything to 70 exactly and did it that way. But yeh I see what you mean. That definitely needs to change.
