We’ve had battles open for the Eliminations Round open for a while now, and progress has been much slower than we’d hope. Only two pairings are ready to battle in the second round.
Because of this we’ve decided it’s time to set some deadlines. All battles for the First Round of Eliminations are to be completed by 11:59pm CST on August 25. A decision will then be made on what to do with those who have not completed battles, in order to progress the tournament. Players who have pairings for round two may battle now!
We aim to have Eliminations finished by August 31st, with our first Champion and runner-ups announced shortly after. The current standings and bracket for the Eliminations Round can be found by clicking HERE, or below in the spoiler tab – please excuse awkward formatting!

Pokemon X and Y is not trying at all to have a blob of different stories put together into one piece, it’s a single story, that’s the thing. That’s what I like about X and Y and the also fillers help with transitions. Yes, fillers are necessary. The other anime series had their fair share of fillers as well. Fillers are a potent part of anime and some of X and Y’s fillers, such as the Madame X episode, Espurr, Flabebe, and the Reflection Cave episodes have been one of the best.

The problem with Pokemon, no matter how good the writing is, previous strategies and learning experiences don’t come back and it seems like Ash is a different character altogether. I think it would make the anime more enjoyable to watch Ash use past strategies but still infuse it with new ones. Revisiting the past and showing development from them is a big factor into making Pokemon having more enjoyable moments without having Ash pull of DEM’s. (Thank the writers very few, if any at all DEM’s have occurred).

It still pisses me off when people confuse Groudon and Kyogre as a fight between water/fire. It’s LAND vs SEA. That’s why Groudon ISN’T a fire type, it’s GROUND type, representing the LAND.

Technically in the past Groudon was Part fire… That’s why in its Primal FormeEvo he’s ground Fire.

The only thing that annoyed me was that Groudon never really had anything to abuse its ability with
Same. I always thought Groudon looked cooler, but there’s no denying kyogre was better at its role.
Kyogre had the water typing and water spout to abuse the crap out of rain.
Groudon firstly didn’t have any physical fire moves, and then all it gets is Fire Punch, and it doesn’t even get STAB.

If real, I am not happy about DLC. Well, if it’s paid DLC anyway. If it’s like events similar to Pokemon, I have no problem as long as the events are more quickly distributed unlike the eternity we must wait for Pokemon events.
I hope some other games get downloadable distributions like pokemon does.

Possibly. It would be something new that hasn’t been done before, adding new Pokemon, mid-generation. Plus, it will accommodate for only 69 Pokemon in the Kalos Dex. May 50-ish new Pokemon will bring it up to at least 119 Pokemon in all.

i figured it would get it cause of the movie and its all based on it. Not cause of the morganite just that giant gem+power+diancie=mega power
I Also think Hoopa & Volcanion will end up with megas… and possibly all 3 will end up dubbed as the “Mega Trio” since kalos is lacking a legendary trio (like articuno/zapdos/moltres)

Yea. I know. If Nintendo felt like doing more with costumes. Pittoo, Dr. Mario and Daisy could have easily been alt. costumes with different animations. Also, we knew Pittoo was going to be in the game because Pit’s clothing didn’t resemble him. Plus he was teased before! XD
And this way he has a staff and is more physical oriented, and he can fly on his own so his aerial moves will be different.

Not only are ice climbers not coming back, but many newcomers are just unplayable to me. I might still get wii u because peach is my main, but now Lucas is gone too. This has been nothing but disappointments to me. I sat through brawl waiting for daisy, trying days in days before that following the rumor that daisy was unlock able in melee, being disappointed both times. Now today, if these rumors are true, that will make it 3 generations of SSB of disappointment. To another in 7 years. If you say yes and leave it until after you beat the game, when you return, your Pokemon will still be there but the Old Man will be gone. There is a Pokeball and inside is a Spiritomb and a note that thanks you for allowing him to go on with bliss. 😀 It only works if you haven’t beaten the game I think.

I remember the time when I was 10 years old. I had nearly every Sonic game, dvd collection, plush toy, figure, statues and posters. I was an admin of a lot of Sonic FaceBook pages. However, I was so extremely addicted that I wished for Sonic to be real.
One night, my parents made my older brother babysit me. He hated Sonic to the absolute core because of my addiction. That very night, I was bending down by my window, praying for Sonic to be real. My brother heard me and came into my room.
“Grow the fuck up!” He shouted. He threw his beer bottle at me, then he beat me up. I was in so much pain and agony. He then wen’t to the electricity box and flicked the switch for my room, meaning I didn’t have any electricity in my room for playing Sonic games. I was crying, until something touched my shoulder.
I could not believe who was in my room. Sonic The Hedgehog was tab ding there grinning! “I’m Sonic! Sonic The Hedgehog!” He said. My brother thought I was playing Sonic Rush on my DS. I heard his footsteps.
“That’s it! Until you learn to enjoy CoD instead, I’m breaking that DS!” He shouted across the corridor. When he entered my room, Sonic curled up into a spin dash ball of death and smashed his head off. Then he looked at my in a sexy manner.
He took his gloves and shoes off. He then ripped off the fur that covers his long blue penis. “Take off your clothes for a good time…” whispered Sonic. As he was my true hero, I ripped off my Sonic t-shirt and my Sonic trousers. Then I jizzed my Sonic underwear and the threw them at Sonic. We had homework today (the first day wtf) but it was relatively easy.
Initially I felt like Science and Ancient Civilizations were going to be the most boring classes of all but they were actually my favorite of the day. But still, English rules all :3
Ummmmm it was a mistake choosing Spanish as my Foreign Language but das okay, I’ll get used to it.
Gym class isn’t too bad either. The teacher doesn’t seem that agressive…yet. XD
Overall today was a pretty good first day for me.

The upcoming announcement will be about a new secret game that is in very early development. Not much is known about the game other than it’s title: “Rapidash Racing”. I am going to say my idea now just in case I miss the announcement and I want that prize XD my idea is a spin off where you are team rocket and you choose koffing meowth or ekans. Like you play as the antagonist. Of course like professor oak you have Giovanni ask you if you are a boy or girl XD
It’s a cool idea, although I don’t see Nintendo agreeing to have a villain game (unless it’s Wario and he’s “saving” the world without actually doing any on-screen crimes that involve player input)
This is not pertaining to the announcement, but I want a move that can devolve a Mega Evolution Pokemon in battle. lol
Inb4 the move, Embargo, is buffed to prevent Mega Evos.
I don’t see a devolving move happening, though.
I know on the subject of buffs they need to do something about the Terrain moves to make them actually useful
Terrain moves had always been underwhelming in singles… 😀
BTW Fairy Terrain is super useful, I used it in my Rotation Battles run in Maison which took me to 104. With Florges as support I’d set it up to prevent statuses on my setup sweeping, as well as stop opponents from Rest-ing.

i’d like to see a sinnoh prequel, meet cynthia as a child, maybe your rival, or have cyrus be your rival… you’d also maybe get to meet elite four member drasna as she grew up in sinnoh “with tales of time and space”, cooler gym leaders and maybe piplup, chimchar and turtwig with slight design changes, maybe slightly different colors, or design differences with the original sinnoh starters to show how pokemon in the past were slightly different, and the starters in the prequels would start to develop and change into the sinnoh starters we know today in diamond pearl platinum. :)))
