~ You know what, we made Ash TOO developed, let’s come up with an OP character so he can lose and we can begin the Fourth Gen.

I’m talking about how every Generation, excluding Gen 1, a mysterious and OP trainer enters the League, annihilating competition and defeating Ash in the process. This was best exemplified with the Sinnoh League, where, if it weren’t for Tobias, Ash would have won the League.
Unova League : closest time I ever came to committing mass murder in Japan over an anime.
Biggest letdown ever.
I didn’t even finish watching the Unova seasons. What happened? I don’t mind spoiler.
Ash basically get’s thrashed around like the “little kid” he was in Unova.
It was just awful. I expected ash to have a full 6v6 battle with trip.
But they were the first to have a match Pika vs Serperior….. Woefull.
Then the other matches just werent great.
Lastly ash loses to Cameron who only takes 5 pokemon into the battle…. Pika kills 3 in about 4moves. Then ash is swept basically by hydregion and a lucario.

I have to agree. The Sinnoh Saga’s League was actually shortened due to the demand for a Post-league Arc and the introduction of Generation 5. That’s why they paced the Unova anime, due to the time constraints.
