In addition to showing off the newly revealed Mega Evolutions of Altaria, Salamence and Lopunny, we also get our first look at Horde Battles against Team Magma! The official site has also been updated with screenshots and more information.
The Pikachu which can wear outfits is called ‘Cosplay Pikachu’ and has a distinctive tail different than normal Pikachus. It has a dark heart-shaped mark and is the only Pikachu able to use costumes.
Contests will have an Introduction Round which judges your Pokémon’s conditions, which can be improved through the use of Pokéblocks, and then a Talent Round in which you have 5 turns to use moves. There are also combos which can give your score a boost, such as Focus Energy followed by Stone Edge. Through your performances you can also amass a fan following which you’ll see at the Hall entrances.
In a new feature, you can also take pictures with your Pokémon during the contest, as seen above.

The overworld sprites in XY were a lot of the same models but with different colors and it has always bothered me.
As OmegaEmpoleon said it’s like that in every Pokemon game! It’s going to be like that in OR/AS! They have a short, medium and tall 3D models! Then they edit the base! The give more editing to important trainers and people! I don’t think it would ever change!

Not really. The still used the small to larger bases! The reuse the bases to make new trainers!
It still had a bit of variety. Trainers in the same class used to look alike, and I loved they added some variation to them like skin and hair color. 😀

The closest to various designs of NPCs in a pokemon game we have is the Colosseum Series. 🙂
I don’t mind that some NPCs look the same because they’re minor NPCs. What I don’t like is when you sometimes two or more of the same minor NPC in the same screen. Especially in Gen VI. Oh well. What can you do? At least major characters have various designs in terms of skin tone, height, weight, etc. 🙂
