It’s annoying to read about. They basically want to eliminate the luck factor when it comes to battling. While they’re at it just eliminate all non-damaging moves from standard play (thunder wave, dragon dance etc) and you’ll have your ideal smogon battle. They already banned Baton Pass, Swagger, Perish Song Gengar, GTFO.

The way I see it is like this:
XY: The melting pot of mega evolutions. Since it introduced the concept they did mega’s for popular Pokemon from any gen. Release Blazikenite as an event stone to hint towards Hoenn starters getting a mega in the future.
ORAS: 3rd gen game, so mainly 3rd gen Poke’s will get mega’s. Release Diancie mega stone as an event to hint toward’s 6th gen poke’s getting mega’s in the future.
Zygarde game(s): Introduce mega evolutions for the Kalos starter’s, as well going back to the melting pot of mega’s… So Poke’s from other gens can get mega’s in this game.
I hope in zygarde you can buy megastones if they do make mega starters! I’m choosing chespin but i’ll want to mega evolve my shiny delphox!

Mega Blaziken was evidence enough to disprove that entire statement. They wouldn’t just give Blaziken one and not the others…which would lead one to believe that there would be more megas introduced in ORAS
When did we say that. We saw Mega Latios/as. I knew it was possible.
Lot’s of people thought the mega lati’s would be the only new mega’s in oras. Their argument was that if the mega’s aren’t already coded into XY that their won’t be any new ones in oras.
Ah. Well that failed. Mega Diancie wasn’t coded into X/Y. She could only Mega Evolve in OR/AS. I think Game Freak should release an update fixing that.
I’m almost positive they will. Probably about 2-3 days before oras comes out they send a patch update to XY

I remember Generation 5. Delphox is amazing stat wise but not visual. I used it once and it’s a great Pokemon. I liked it. 😛

Smogon banning Aegislash is dumb. But now on the bright side….Mega Gardevoir and Mega Medicham have one less thing to worry about. I’m more interested to see how the metagame shifts on their servers.
