As promised we’re now bringing the final update before the PokéJungle 2014 Tournament begins. This post contains the information you’ve all been waiting for: the groups and competitors assignments for the first stage of the tournament.
Below you will find each group, as well as the period in which these groups will be battling. During this period each competitor will have to battle every other person in their group once. This update is relatively short as we plan to have further details and a recap on all information on the day of the tournament starting (perhaps this wasn’t the final, final update!); don’t forget you can view all previous updates on the tournament by clicking HERE.

It pretty much needs to come back. I honestly think them not adding it in will affect sales.
Honestly if it’s not there I’m going to actually wait a couple of months before buying the games at a cheaper price.

I’d rather buy it at full price to help Trollfreak. I doubt it’ll price drop anyways. HGSS is still far too expensive.

Usually prices drop quite quickly especially if you know where to look, and I don’t mean top end video game retailers ;).
One thing is helping Trollfreak, but I also want my money’s worth. X/Y didn’t have an end game but thank god competitive battling is fun.
That doesn’t make a difference with ORAS. Assuming that we don’t get the frontier, there’s still secret bases and the competitive battling. There are also new mega evolutions to add to the metagame. The game is currently at $40 from what I can tell. It would still be worth the full $40.
Yes secret bases seem like fun, but I can already competitively battle in X/Y. Do I need another game to do it also?
I’m not hating on ORAS so don’t get me wrong…but everyone has they’re own decision process when it comes to buying new games. My one is to usually wait a bit, find out information before making the purchase. And at the same time hopefully saving me some money.
Good point, from the footage and gameplay of OAS that I’ve seen. The game seems worth buying at the day of launch. The thing with X and Y battling is that it still suffers from frame rate issues and might not have the newer mega evolutions.
The footage has been excellent so far. And the new Mega Evolutions, especially Metagross is what I am looking forward to most. Mainly how they will impact the competitive scene.
I just don’t buy things on the day of launch. I usually wait a few weeks maybe a month or so. But if BF is confirmed I will definitely be looking at a first day purchase.

I think I’ll use the secret base for power leveling (or at least use my profile to assist in this). Imagine a team full of only lv100 latios, and the only move they know is Memento, Triples Battle.

I had to sacrifice my level 97 Greninja that I got early on in the game to finish my Unown dex. Vivillon is more difficult.

Yup. Gen 5 had 649 with Genesect. Gen 6 introduced 69 new Pokemon. Making it 718. Until Diancie, Hoopa and Volcanion were leaked. Boosting the dex up to 721. But, officially, Diancie is the only one of the trio that has been announced, so it’s 719 right now.
