Competitive Battling in Pokémon really is a huge deal, there’s an annual World Championship tournament to find the world’s best Pokémon trainer, entire websites dedicated to battling and much, much more.
This JungleTalk is a relatively simple an broad one, just focusing on the competitive aspect of Pokémon as a whole. We want to know any memorable battles you’ve had, any cool sweeps or times you’ve fallen victim to an effective sweep, your favorite Pokémon you like to use in battle…

Although Mewtwo strikes back has very poor ratings on metacritic, I think it’s a good movie to watch. Some of the stuff is really powerful and I still remember it.

Ah! We just took are starters out of the briefcase to fend off some Starly. Then Barry decided it’s proper to return the Pokemon. Then they head to Sandgem Town to return them to Rowan. Yet, he allows you to keep it!

Okay, so idk what they’ll do with Cynthia in ORAS, but they’ll prolly have her since they could have her looking into some legends in Hoenn since she says she was looking into legendary mythology lately when you first meet her in DP.
Also, HGSS take place at around the same time DP does. You beat Jasmine, then she’s rarely in her Gym, you see her in DP, and when you rematch her in HGSS, she has a couple Sinnoh pokemon 😉 Coolios.
She doesn’t HAVE to be in this game…

How dense can a person be? I told a person on showdown it’s impossible to have a Charmander in a Moon Ball, and the only way to get one with Kalos Born symbol is through hacking a parent and breed one off of it. He insisted that it’s possible, saying he got it off of wonder trade. Even the mods said it’s impossible and showed the Serebii page with said claim.

In the picture @disqus_MRslUvsVha:disqus posted with the old & new comparisons, there’s a screenshot of Wattson’s gym, showing two trainers and all the electric barriers up.
In the trailer w/M. Metagross (where Wattson’s gym is also shown), theres only one trainer (in the same spot as one in the screenshot, but a different model) and the barriers are mostly in different places/deactivated…
Maybe it’s because the person was farther in the gym or they return to it. I don’t know really… XD
What bothers me is that in both the trailer and the screenshot, theres less trainers than in R/S/E
