New Japanese Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Trailer!

A new trailer has been uploaded to the official Japanese Pokémon channel on YouTube and spotlights the Super Secret Base feature of Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. We’re currently translating the details below:

  • Fortree City Remix
  • Stunfisk mat
  • You’ll get to visit secret bases of people you’ve connected with online, and scout them to become part of your team, like Join Avenue
  • Some berries are seen on routes
  • You can turn your secret base into a gym

Pretty much everything that was covered on the official website a couple of days ago. I’m digging the Fortree City remix! <3

        • You and I both. I never made it to the Sevii Islands on FRLG and I never made it past the 1st gym on Emerald. (I beat Sapphire before but I never got that far on Emerald to witness the frontier because I get bored and I’m used to the XY graphics)

  2. You know that treehouse secret base that you have to cross the Feebas surfing route to get to? I used to think I was so cool for finding that base because it was really hidden and that it was unique. Then I join Pokemon fan sites and realize that it’s one of the most popular secret bases. LOL.

  3. You know when it comes to setting rules up for your gym, I really think it will be limited to things like Single, Double, Triple, Rotation Battles, No switching, No items, No duplicate hold items, 3v3 or 6v6 e.t.c.

And hopefully nothing like I only want the opponent to use Steel Types in my Fire Gym herp derp

  5. The outstanding lighting and vibrant colors are quintessential! As an animation and color connoisseur, I can say for a fact that OR/AS is truly a beautiful game thus far. AMAZING! 9.7/10!

    • I would go for the first set, just EQ screams Flying Pokemon to switch in and Defog. They might not fearing the Avalanche, but STAB Waterfall can help to deal damage where EQ can’t

  8. I got my shiny Magikarp plush and it’s amazing, but it doesn’t stop there. The seller also sent the Pokemon Center bag, two huge Japanese Nintendo brochures (which will go on display), an Oshawott keychain and Japanese cookies and tea with a nice handwritten note. I only bought the plush 😀 I am kind of freaking out.

  9. I wonder if there will be a limit as to how many bases we can collect throughout the game. I hope there isn’t; because online communications allowing you to access bases of the people you’ve traded or battled with will add up… It’s going to be awesome!
