Continuing from yesterday, a few days ahead of its official street date this month’s issue of CoroCoro has begun leaking online. The issue features new information on Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, including new revelations relating to the game. Don’t forget to check out the first batch of leaks from yesterday HERE.
Pokémon
Characters
- Much like yesterday the images feature new artwork of Hoenn Gym Leaders. Brawly is featured alongside a Makuhita
- Professor Birch is back and will give you your starting Pokémon
- Returning Gym Leaders are also shown with their Pokémon
- Steven is the Champion and Sidney and Phoebe appear to be wearing Mega Evolution items
Story
- The new Pokédex is shown and takes on an appearance that is similar to both the original Hoenn Pokédex and a GameBoy Advance
- The Pokémon Amie feature (or one with the same functions) will make a return to the games
Contests
- Pikachu is shown with different outfits for the Pokémon Contests. The outfits shown are Idol, Doctor, Masked, Madam, and Hard Rocker
- Next month’s CoroCoro will feature more about Contests

I think that, as said before, these Pikachu costumes show all of the contest types.
But, I think this Amie screen is straight from a contest. Why would your pokemon be wearing fancy clothes outside of battle? I think you will be able to feed and dress up your pokemon in the Amie screen during the contests, during the qualifier.

Why would they replace them? They are some of the most challenging leaders. They are the point of the game to tell whether or not your ready for the rest of the game.
Actualy I beleave that they were just a gimmic to promot double battle’s. 🙂 They were my fave gym leader’s in Hoenn, as well as the one’s that frustrated me the most, the first time I ever played the game. Now I find them quite easy. 🙂

In ORAS, its going to be a Shiftry, probably because the rival in XY uses a Mega Absol. They decided to change it since the Absol is kinda the Rival’s Signature, not counting the starter, since starters rarely count as mains

With regards to where Pheobe’s mega evolution device is, i think i may have found it…
Take a look at her r/s/e artwork (http://ak1.polyvoreimg.com/cgi/img-thing/size/l/tid/11752298.jpg). You can see she wears a leg bracelet on her right leg. I think she may still wear this, but the text is just blocking it (it would be more of an ankle bracelet though). If you look really closely at her ankle (where the text is) you can see a pink ring behind the text.
