Continuing from yesterday, a few days ahead of its official street date this month’s issue of CoroCoro has begun leaking online. The issue features new information on Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, including new revelations relating to the game. Don’t forget to check out the first batch of leaks from yesterday HERE.
Pokémon
Characters
- Much like yesterday the images feature new artwork of Hoenn Gym Leaders. Brawly is featured alongside a Makuhita
- Professor Birch is back and will give you your starting Pokémon
- Returning Gym Leaders are also shown with their Pokémon
- Steven is the Champion and Sidney and Phoebe appear to be wearing Mega Evolution items
Story
- The new Pokédex is shown and takes on an appearance that is similar to both the original Hoenn Pokédex and a GameBoy Advance
- The Pokémon Amie feature (or one with the same functions) will make a return to the games
Contests
- Pikachu is shown with different outfits for the Pokémon Contests. The outfits shown are Idol, Doctor, Masked, Madam, and Hard Rocker
- Next month’s CoroCoro will feature more about Contests
FEATURED THREAD: What game are you playing?
Professor Birch has somewhere to be XD
I have only question. What the hell have GameFreak been smoking?
Weedle.
Some pretty good stuff I have to assume lol
I kinda like the idea. I haven’t watched the Hoenn and Sinnoh anime in a while, but didn’t they dress up their pokemon as well?
C’mon November!
more leaks
My only request about the new contest is that there should be a feature where you can do online contests. I think that would be a lot of fun!
I never do contest. XD Yet, this feature would add a new dynamic to online play!
One comment I have to make about the dress up Pikachus is that they all seem to b female……..
look at the tails of these picachu …. wat that mean ? all of them are a female ?
I don’t think Male Pikachu’s will be doing this. Of course their females. XD
I was about to say the same thing. It’s weird. Does this mean that these forms are only available for female pikachu? If so, are their costumes for male pikachu?
I would have thought that the rocker Pikachu would at least b male
i really hope picachu get anew form not clothes
New pikachu forms
I get the pikachu represent the contest categories. Cool=hard rock pikachu, Beauty= madame pikachu, Cute= idol pikachu, Smart=Doctor pikachu, and tough=mask pikachu.
Well spotted
Thank You
I think contests r in fact back guys. So u can rejoice lol

Um… I don’t mean to be rude, but isn’t the region’s professor Birch? ^
No!!! It’s Professor ROWAN get it into ur thick head!!!!!!!!! ……………………………………………………………………………………………..jk lol
Professor Birch, not Professor Rowan…
I know you’re as excited for Sinnoh as I am but #getitright.
Errr…Whoever is updating this Article. It’s Professor Birch, not Professor Rowan 😀
Too late
Wait wait what, Are the clothes exclusive to Pikachu?! And do we have the option to change Pikachu’s outfit for contests?! Omg
I will be the master of the Tough Contests!
I may even research combo moves and sour taste natures and find the perfect Tough Contest Ground Type
Whoever hasn’t seen the rest of the Gym Leaders and a bit of the Elite Four here are the scans! Refresh to see them!
The question is now what r the other gym leaders and E4 gonna b like? Maybe some new leaders…..? lol
They look amazing omfg.
Why is there a dusknoir next to phoebe. Is this what they meant about the pokedex having different pokemon.
Crap I put a period and not question mark.
Because it’s her signature Pokemon.
I believe so. There were a limited number of each type of pokemon in the region, so they probably wanted to give more of a variety!
Dusknoir is going to be her star! It’s the evolved of Duskclops! So, I guess that’s what they mean by different Pokemon!
Anyone else notice wattson has screws in his sandals? Thats pretty cool :3
Mega Screw confirmed…
These remakes make me love Roxanne even more.
AWESOME!
the artwork for fifth generation was better
I look bada55 in that pic 😛
F-F-F-Flanerrry
Wow, really like the new designs!
They did a nice work with Roxanne but Wattson was better before…
PD:I just noticed Wattson and Norman now show their feet LOL! That’s kind of weird!
WAIT! SIDNEY AND PHOEBE WILL HAVE MEGA EVOLOUTIONS :OOO???
Maybe!!! It will make them all the more challenging!!!!
Mega Dusknoir,Shiftry,Wailren and Salamence :3
WHERE?!?!
wait! where did you read that?!?!?
Wait I thought Sydney’s main was an Absol
And I guess Dusknoir is fine
But I doubt they’ll let the Elite Four Mega Evolve
Only Villian Leaders and Champions
Agreed. It seems these days a character can’t rock some bling without people thinking it’s a mega item lol
