Story

  • The new Pokédex is shown and takes on an appearance that is similar to both the original Hoenn Pokédex and a GameBoy Advance
  • The Pokémon Amie feature (or one with the same functions) will make a return to the games

Contests

  • Pikachu is shown with different outfits for the Pokémon Contests. The outfits shown are Idol, Doctor, Masked, Madam, and Hard Rocker

  1. I doubt that Sidney and Phoebe have Mega Evolutions. Taking a closer look Sidney’s “Mega Watch” it doesn’t look it has a Mega Stone. It’s just gold all around. The middle of it is not a rainbow colour. Phoebe is a bit hard to tell. I don’t see a Mega Stone on her upper body but if she does have one it might be on her feet! I might be wrong! But I’m starting to doubt that they have Mega Stones.

  2. It slightly bothers me that prof birch’s and phoebe’s “new” attire is the exact same as the original gen 3 art work.

    • Hopefully we’ll be able to transfer them to the next gen games unlike the spike ear pikachu. Unless they have no use outside of contests. Then it will be ok to leave them.

          • i was too, one of the few things i dislike about pokemon/gamefreak and why i am so skeptical when do certain things (especially the things i like) her and my 10ann pikachu cant be transferred cause it knows fly and i refuse to remove fly, still dont get why she couldnt be transferred but atleast she wont be lonely lol

  4. Now that’s more like it. The Contest Pikachu thing has impressed me far more than Metacross getting a megs evolution. XD I cant wait to try that out it looks awesome.

  5. Oh, there’s Phoebe’s Mega Anklet. Took me a while to notice xD (The blue circular thing behind the Japanese text)

  6. Jeez Gamefreak is the master of hiding Key Stones remember Maxie and Archie? I think they’re doing the same thing with that strategically placed text on Phoebe to throw us off of Sidney’s watch.

  7. Wait a second, all the contest Pikachus are Female! I doubt there will be gender exclusive costumes for pokemon but it could happen.

  8. How long do you guys think it will take to get the new art and trailer on the english pokemon sites? I predict either later today, late at night or sometime within the next 1-2 days.

  9. I wonder which Gym leader would have a Mega during the main story.. High possibilities are Wattson and Norman. Wattson being the 3rd gym leader (like Korrina) or Norman, with him being your dad and all and his gym having that dojo-like appearance.

  10. Finished my Ruby Nuzlocke today with my over levelled pokes (65-72)
Tate and Liza, compared to their Emerald team were incredibly easy.
A surf from my Pelliper took them out

    WHO’S READY FOR SOME REAL?

    Let’s start with:
    1) Where are the rest of the pages with the new Gym Leader art work.. AND those for the other TWO Elite Four Members?
I mean, if you’re going to do some leakin’, then you might as well give us all u got 😉 … Am I right? 😉
    Nobody likes a tease @JohnLenose 😉

    2) Madame Pikachu is adorbz, but WHERE THE POKEMON-SNAP is PrimalPikachu, or AmandaBynes Pikachu?
    See what I did there 😉 ?

    And lastly,
    3) Shout out to all of the commentators,
and especially to pokejungle.net for making all of this happen.
My heart goes out to all of the site’s administrators for all of the hard work and time that they put into this site.

    Peace & Love Always,

  13. I can’t remember (or find a clear image) if Sidney had that watch in the previous games – but I certainly hope it’s a mega item. I also hope the Elite Four teams still have 5 pokemon each, like in the originals. It would be great if they don’t have duplicate pokemon (as they did in the original) this time around.
To refresh anyone who doesn’t recall, in the original RS games:
Sidney had Mightyena (as the lead), Shiftry (which the scans confirm is returning), Cacturne, Sharpedo, and Absol.
Phoebe had 2x Dusclops (now she has a Dusknoir), 2x Banette, and Sableye – so I think her team will look different this time around; would be cool to keep one Dusclops with an eviolite, but I know Gamefreak never seems to get that creative for in-game battles.
Glacia used 2x Glalie (I’m betting one will be a Frostlass this time, if she is still in the Elite Four), 2x Sealeo (which I guess will be totally dismissed from her team), and a Walrein.
Drake had a Shelgon (why?), Altaria, 2x Flygon, ad a Salamence – I would hope he has a team better covered against ice attacks this time.
And our champion, Steven, had a Skarmory, Claydol, Aggro, Cradily, Armaldo, and Metagross (now mega)…I imagine he will keep his “sandstorm proof” (as I used to call it) team.
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas??
