Nintendo’s Digital E3 was broadcast earlier today and with it the company has shared a handful of details relating to new Pokémon games. Below you can find our coverage of the news, expect more throughout the day with in depth coverage just around the corner!
Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
And full trailer has been shown for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, showing Hoenn completely remade with 3D environments. Launching worldwide on November 21 in the US and November 28 in Europe!
In Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Kyogre and Groudon are able undergo a process known as Primal Reversion. This allows the two Pokémon to revert into Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon, and allows them to draw back power from nature and gain an even larger power boost. When undergoing Primal Reversion, Kyogre receives a boost to its Special Attack stat whilst Groudon become Ground/Fire type and gains a boosted Attack stat. Both Pokémon also seem to gain a boost to their abilities, although it’s not possible to confirm this yet.
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will bring players even closer to discovering the secrets behind Mega Evolution, with players seeking out Pokémon capable of Mega Evolving and unlocking their incredible potential. More Mega Stones are said to be hidden across the Hoenn region. It also appears that there may be a link between Mega Evolution and Primal Reversion.

I think the black thing at the top is likely Team Magma/Aqua’s hideout. remember in Lillycove there’s that small cave that held the hideout. Maybe this small cave now leads there

The awesome transformation is a result of Primal Reversion, when Groudon and Kyogre reclaim their original power from nature’s energy and obtain even greater power than they already have. The power within Primal Reversion is still being discovered, as well as what connection may lie between Primal Reversion and Mega Evolution.
Primal Groudon is brimming with energy, which pours from its body as magma. The magma burns at such an extreme temperature that its body is always shimmering ruby red from the haze of its heat, giving off light in the darkness. Through Primal Reversion, Primal Groudon becomes much larger and adds Fire type to its Ground type, raising the power of Fire-type moves it can learn. Primal Reversion greatly boosts Primal Groudon’s Attack. Its Ability may get a boost during this epic transformation, too.
Primal Kyogre, a Water-type Pokémon, is awash with energy that spills from its body as seawater. Its blue skin shines like a sapphire and is half-translucent like the sea. Primal Reversion greatly boosts Primal Kyogre’s Special Attack. Its Ability also seems to get a boost, although this information cannot yet be confirmed. Primal Kyogre is massive, growing to be more than twice Kyogre’s size.”

I’m sorry to say it, but if you evolve from Leaf Stone/Fire Stone etc (any evolutionary stone) YOU WILL NOT, and I repeat, WILL NOT, get a mega evolution. In a way, Evolutionary Stones are linked to Mega Stones.
Out of the 30 mega’s we have in XY, None of them previously evolved from Evolutionary Stones. This explains why Gardevoir got a mega, and Gallade didn’t (dawn stone).
People say “not true, megas are decided on popularity” – if that were the case, Pikachu would have received a Mega, the most popular Pokemon. But it didn’t, ‘why’ you ask? Because it utilizes a thunder stone.
So don’t expect Shiftry, Ludicolo, Eeveelutions etc to get a mega.
Mega Shiftry and Ludicolo were speculated through Serebii’s list or something like that if I remember correctly.
No serebii never posts rumours, and he does not get ‘secret info from nintendo’

I believe mega stones are radiated evolutionary stones. They under went some kind of radiation exposure. It’s funny cause France is actually known for radiation/nuclear stuff

Yeah I’ve noticed that too. Metal Coat etc. But that’s entirely different, stones are WAY different than regular “trade to evolve”.
Besides, it’d be odd to use a water stone to get ludicolo, then use ludicolonite stone on top of a prev stone -_-
The thing’s, if you’re evolving by stone, it’s over you cannot evolve anymore, if you’re evolving by trade it’s over you cannot evolve any more. Then, here comes the megaevolution, breaking the mold.

They are bigger.
No they’re not. Groudon is exactly the same size. Kyogre just looks big because of the angles it was shot in, but it’s the same size too.
