‘Delta Emerald’ Trademarked in Japan

In a surprising bit of news, it has come to light that Nintendo trademarked デルタエメラル (Delta Emerald) in Japan. This is most likely just to cover their bases and make sure the name is reserved because of its similarity to the announced Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire remakes coming to the Nintendo 3DS in November 2014. Other Pokémon-themed names have been trademarked before and Nintendo has also purchased a range of .com domain names for games that would never actually exist. Don’t get your hopes up 😉  This was discovered by a 2ch user and the thread can be viewed on Hachima Kikou.

Even so, this is sure to draw some speculation from the fandom at large 😉

        • You’re going to have to give me a day to enjoy myself, I remember rushing my playthrough of X way too much. I’ll be on all night tomorrow, all day Saturday and some of Sunday so I can do it one of those other times 😀

  6. I have a new Christmas wish already. Three speakers for three corners of my room that automatically play the Ocarina of Time House theme when I walk into the room. I’m going to make that work somehow.

      Or something of a door hinge mechanism
      I wish i could do that with my Room
      But my Room is filled with Junk and collectibles and its not really the best hangout place

      • Well, I have OCD so my room is very clean, with gaming memorabilia being the main focus on one wall. Just yesterday I put all of my games on two shelves with Club Nintendo stuff in between (these are collinear shelves), and I have small Pokemon and Zelda shrines on two shelves below that. Pieces from my old Power Miners and Atlantis Lego collections are on the top shelves. This is all on the wall near my door, so I would put one speaker near the entrance, one in front of that and one on the opposite side. I’m also going to add a computer monitor to play Wii and GameCube games on top of my dresser soon.

        That’s a long wall of text. Your game is probably done downloading by now.

        • Well since i squat in my basement (avoiding the stereotype)
          its basically a big ol’ white table with the couch in front of it with a big ol’ flat screen on a wire frame shelf with N64, Gamecube, Wii, Wii U and XBox and i giant bookcase within the wall filled with old junk, dvds games and bins
          i also have exercise equipment (Bench Table and a very worn out Punching Bag)

          Its a little slice of heaven but sometimes i want to get my room in order but since my youngest brother’s computer is down there I rather not leave him all alone and most importantly there’s Netflix down there

          • I’ll have two of those five consoles down very soon! 😛
            I’ll eventually get the Wii U in here once my sister stops having interest in it, but that might take a couple years. I’d rather play the Wii U on our big flat-screen, but I like doing things in the comfort of my clean room. I might get the PS3 as well, if we end up getting a PS4 for movies.

            Laundry everywhere (and you can’t tell if clean or dirty >:D)
            My Old Desk is covered in High-school/college Crap and its filled with unorganized Drawings
            My bed side drawer is filled with uncatalogued knick nacks and junk (including a Ocarina, a Iphone container a wad of chain beads and magnets)
            and my Pokemon Card collection….is pretty organized
            My Drawers are filled with really old clothes and covered in collectibles dusty and i have 3 tvs that don’t work or have cable! (and they have Mustaches!)
            and a giant cabinet filled with my most treasured World of Warcraft figurines and Bionicles
            And to top it all off!
            ROCKS
            ROCKS EVERYWHERE
            I have at least 24 fair sized rocks scattered throughout my room including my giant one with Goggely eyes and lens-less 3D glasses Whom i affectionately call Andrew Rockefeller

          • That literally made me wipe dust off my shelf out of sheer terror. Sounds a lot like my dad’s office actually, minus the video game collectibles and rocks.

          • also inside my Dresser i saved every soda bottle i’ve ever drank in college
            …all of the drawers are full

            And you don’t even want to see under my bed 😀

      • fun fact: after unlocking all the cups in 50cc you can actually choose any cup in the 150 100 category:p my first cup in 100cc was Special cup

  18. IDK if it’s because I’m a beginner or a noob at first person shooters, but I seem to really suck at high intensity levels in Kid Icarus: Uprising.

      • I started playing with the Sniper/Huntsman combo in TF2 last weekend (which is really hard to do) and somehow I was making critical hits left and right. So I guess I’m a little good. I’m never going to play the likes of Call of Duty or Battlefield because they are involve lifelike murder situations.
