‘Delta Emerald’ Trademarked in Japan

In a surprising bit of news, it has come to light that Nintendo trademarked デルタエメラル (Delta Emerald) in Japan. This is most likely just to cover their bases and make sure the name is reserved because of its similarity to the announced Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire remakes coming to the Nintendo 3DS in November 2014. Other Pokémon-themed names have been trademarked before and Nintendo has also purchased a range of .com domain names for games that would never actually exist. Don’t get your hopes up 😉  This was discovered by a 2ch user and the thread can be viewed on Hachima Kikou.

Even so, this is sure to draw some speculation from the fandom at large 😉

  2. OK so you know how in X and Y you can sit on benches. What about if in ORAS we can sit on the beach chairs in route 109, the beach just below Slateport City.

  3. Okay, one thing. Nintendo’s newer games have been phenomenal, but the thing that bugs me is that they’re mechanics have made the game too easy! >.< I mean, EXP Share, 3 pkmn, and then MK8 has the random character generator prize, and, and… ;~;

  4. I think that the following will happen:
Ash and such attend a hoenn beach party completed with its own contest, and Serena decides she wants to take part in it.
After the first roind, Serena loses, but on the results screen, ash sees a familiar face (May)

  5. Do you think they will allow a Mega pokemon to be beaten by a regular pokemon in the anime?
Because how else will they handle Ash vs Korrina. Maybe make as if Korrina can’t properly handle that kind of power yet giving Ash and opportunity to win.

  7. Tbh. I never really cared about shiny’s unless it was a really cool color ( black charizard, golden noctowl and azumarill)

  8. In response to to uber’s comment: “Serena losing to May? It’ll at least be a tie.

Also, you missed our discussion earlier about how Johto is a Chick (and Cilan) Magnet since all of Ash’s female traveling companions (and Cilan) travelled there after their series was over. :D”

I didnt think you would see my response, so here it is:
II didnt say she would lose to may, but she would lose in the preliminary rounds.

  9. Even I’m saying that…

I’m starting to lose faith on Serena. I feel like she only exists as eye candy.

*blows up pluto and rebuilds it so no one will complain about the little pesudo-planet*

  10. Ok Djja. I surrender. After giving her 30 episodes of screentime, I can finally agree with the majority of the fandom when I say that in terms of character development, SERENA SUCKS!!!

  11. One of the best actual episodes of pokemon ever, was when harley tricked max into saying an embarrassing secret about her during the contest, so the whole crowd starts laughing at her explicitly, and even with that, she still wins.

  12. I wish Ask used Muk more. Muk is awesome

I still remember when Bellsprout lifted Muk and slammed him on the ground. Oh man the old episode were so funny.
