Does our theoretical Generation 6.5 count for ORAS? There will be move tutors and new megas, but no new pokémon.

Yup, especially if ORAS gives new megas. Z would include the new mega stones found in ORAS in addition to whatever new battle mechanics they add. The new region may not necessarily have new pokes (Orre for example), but the storyline should cover the missing plot from X/Y. A different variety of pokes would be available in the game allowing gen 6 an even wider variety of available pokes without the need to use poke’transporter
No one knows if there is going to be new Pokemon in it or not. If there is new mega’s, there is a 50% chance for new Pokemon as well.

Hoenn has a part of my heart, but so do the other regions.
It has a bigger part than others, but others like Sinnoh and Kalos, have a slighly bigger part.

Well, it’s my 4th fave region.
Well, if you turn off the EXP share, it would be slighly less easy.
Plus, the games have always had their easiness. They are children’s games, after all.

;~; It was soooo hard up to Gen 4. Gen 5 it was easy. I went back and played Diamond, and it was exhilarating having Dialga vs. Milotic in champ battle. It was difficult.

I will admit Gen 3 was hard…..when I was younger. Now, I’m blowing through my Emerald. Of course, they really hard part was the E4, and I haven’t gotten there yet.
All gens had their hard and easy parts. Whitney and Lenora remind me of that.
I just don’t think that its difficulty should be a valid reason for not liking a region.
But that’s my opinion, you could think what you please.
Plus E4 in Sinnoh was always easy to me. Cynthia was a bit hard, but nothing that a good team couldn’t handle.
That’s true, I just want to get that feeling of: “I’m trapped here… But if I waste my Luxray to revive my Staraptor, then I may be able to Brave Bird and not faint from recoil… Blah Blah Blah.”
Lenora wasn’t hard. Well, I guess she was. Ohhhhh it started easier in BW2, or near the end of BW.

And I had a FireRed rom, but I never finished it. Wasn’t very exciting to me.
And Johto I liked, but there were regions far above it, and it’s kinda hard to build teams early on, and I like having a full team before the League.
And the lack of evolutionary stones…always grinded my gears.
