June CoroCoro Leaking with Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Details

The June issue of Japanese comic magazine CoroCoro (which is published in May) has begun leaking and the new Ruby and Sapphire remakes are featured.

Information

  • The first scan simply introduces Groudon and Kyogre and the caption points out that they look different than the art on the packages
  • Unknown whether more pages will surface
  • Next month the magazine will run more information about the games

          • We all are, and you guys are acting like ours means nothing by trying to mow over it with sinnoh stuffe. Can’t you just let us enjoy hoenn for now?
            We’ve done our waiting.
            12 years of it.
            But it feels like you’re trying to delude the hoenn feel by talking up sinnoh 24/7.
            I’m not the only one who feels that way.

          • Exactly. Sinnoh is playable on the current handheld system. And it isn’t as outdated as Hoenn either. We’ve been waiting for Hoenn longer than you have for Sinnoh. Sinnoh’s my favorite region, and you guys are making me hate it. Just let the hype for Hoenn last before the Sinnoh hype start D:<

          • Serena doesnt get much love because she’s a mindless follower. all you know about her is that she has a certain thirst for ash. she hasnt decided what she wanted to be, and the other girls did. and in many aspects, including pokemon ownership, shes being outdone by BONNIE of all people. As of thursday, it is assumed that Clemont will be holding 2 pokemon for his sister. and the only development in her fennekin, learning flamethrower, was done by accident trying to learn ember.

            lack of development is the issue with a lot of anime characters. especially in really popular anime like pokemon and naruto

          • I wish we had ONE female protagonist that could actually be as helpful, developed, and designed as Misty and Dawn. Love those two!

          • The whole thing is that each region has a theme, and each regions theme is different, and ash’s role is different in each one. people assume unova was a reset of sort, so thats why ash’s development in unova was skewered. in sinnoh, he was reaching the pinnacle of his character, and took more of a mentor role with dawn. Kalos is based on beauty and friendship, so much character development ability wise will be tossed for development friendship wise. that and everyone’s fashion sense will improve throughout gen 6. assumably

          • We have the right to voice our opinion though… and if many people agree, then it’s not over-rated because we share a common opinion. 😀

          • Within all technicalities, if an opinion is COMMON, and i mean, COMMON, as in 80+% of the people in the conversation agree with it, that makes it over-rated. And overrated-ness is an opinion anyway. I think Cynthia is over-rated. Does that make her over-rated to everyone else? no. but you cant say that a common opinion isnt overrated, because the commoness of a viewpoint os what makes it overrated or not. technically.

          • There’s no such thing as over-rated. Categorizing opinions as under-rated, over-rated is just disrespectful.

            and another thing, why is it that the second you say i dislike this, or this is overrated to me, people automatically assume that you are disrespecting what they like, and have no respect for it? i dont have to like it to respect it.

  8. I feel kind of bad for Dragon-types… Although they were overpowered and Fairy-types were added to balance it out, they would only be the shield and super effective against themselves… I wish they could add Rubber-types to balance things out better.

    • I just wished dragons where resistant to fairy’s instead of immune. And I think fairy needs another weakness. It’s the best defensive type in the game IMO

  20. I wish the Anime portrayed Steven Stone better. Due to my lack of Hoenn Nostalgic Attachment, the Anime could have at least made it up by having him appear more and having him battle Ash like a Boss! NOPE!!!!

  22. I am sad that they didn’t put Hilda in the anime… They would’ve given her a tomboyish, yet charming attitude. Graceful swimmer as well. If she started her journey with an Oshawott, she would have nicknamed it Tricky.

          • It seems like Sinnoh fans are getting attacked by Hoenn fans and vice versa. I know we have different tastes but it seems that way. I just don’t get it why we can’t talk about both at the same time. It would be a lot easier and nor get’s annoyed because you’er not reading our comments.

          • We should be hyping Hoenn. That simple. I don’t mean disrespect to any of you, but can’t we be excited for Hoenn, and not Sinnoh remakes that aren’t even coming for a long time?

          • I never really talked about Sinnoh remakes. I just wanted Cynthia in the ORAS game because she’s an amazing opponent. And of course, I WANT Steven to be in the game because I never played Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald.

          • WHAAAAAAAT?! OH…MY…GOD! You never played them?! Didn’t you at least have an original Nintendo DS?!

          • With the way Game Freak changed things, I don’t even know if I can… I didn’t mind Gen II adding Steel and Dark, and Magnemite along with its evolved form becoming dual-type. However, they could have made former Normal-types (Snubbull and Clefairy) dual-type like Jigglypuff, rather than making them pure Fairy-type. They went a little to far with that. A friend of mine told me that pink means Fairy-type, and she was annoyed with that.
