A short clip of Groudon and Kyogre has been revealed. This is most likely from the very opening of the games and doesn’t give much information, but it does look cool! During Pokémon GET TV, they did reference how normal Groudon and Kyogre look different than the way they’re pictured on the box art though…

Das Emerald, not R/S ;P
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are remakes with Emerald built into it.
Not really sure how you can build Emerald’s plot into it =/ Ruby was one side of the story. Sapphire was the other side. Emerald combined the two stories, so to anyone hoping for the Groudon/Kyogre fight scene, don’t get your hopes up. That didn’t happen in R/S, and even this video shows it’s Groudon’s Drought for one, Kyogre’s Drizzle the other, that was the plot. They never fought in R/S 😛
Although, I do agree that they will include some Emerald elements xP Just not the plot. Battle Frontier should return, for example.
So how do you explain Crystal’s storyline being in HG/SS? I wouldn’t expect an Emerald remake anytime soon.
You could catch the other legendary in HG/SS so I expect the same with these.
And it’s pretty obvious they could be the Opening.
Chrystals storyline wasnt as big of a change as R/S’s
Chrystal was just minor changes, same plot, just different legendary, and Eiusine encounters.
Emerald has MAJOR differences than r/s.
You’re comparing two completely different games. The plot in Crystal wasn’t different, they just added Suicune to it. That’s not hard to implement xD
In Ruby and Sapphire, it was two completely different stories for each legend. In Emerald, it COMBINED those two stories. If we were getting Emerald’s perspective, we’d be seeing an Emerald remake instead of an R/S remake because just how much the actual storyline was different.
Yes I understand that, but I didn’t exactly say that it should follow ALL of Emerald’s storyline. The one major thing that I want to be included from Emerald is the clash between Kyogre and Groudon in Sootopolis city. That’s it.
And I’m saying I doubt that happens because again, that was key to Emerald’s plot, which was completely different from R/S’s plot xD I don’t see it happening, but we’ll see 😛

I’m just speaking in terms of what Gamefreak can “get away with” now with showing footage. We are all accustomed to the 3D look now and when they said footage, we expected footage of a lot. Whereas we didn’t care at all what was shown with XY because it was such a revolution. We’re spoiled 😐
We really need to appreciate what we have. We’re lucky Game Freak even decided to show us a 5 second clip. They could show NOTHING until the release of the games. People really need to stop being so unappreciative because there are people in this world who have it far worse than you.

Im just going to make a list about what this sorta reveals: (assuming this isnt the intro, but when groudon/kyogre get summoned)
-Games follow Ruby/Sapphire storyline
-Kyogre/Groudon do not immediately mega evolve/form change when summoned (they only appear to activate their abilities)
-Sootopolis is seen in the background. It doesn’t look white.
-Archie/Maxie and the protag and steven (who i think appears) are not shown. They were above water when groudon/kyogre were summoned, so it seems the storyline is a bit different (unless they just arent shown in the cutscene for whatever reason)
-Groudon does not appear to have the omega symbol on its arms (as in the game cover). Also it summoned a ball of fire (or that could just be an intensification of the sun)
-Both appeared to have steam/water vapor around them upon coming out of the water
I’ll probably add more later, but this is what i saw immediately
Remember it also says that the footage is not final. So adjustments could me made.

Groudon and Kyogre look like X & Y models, but a bit sharper. The overworld is definitely not from X & Y. LOOK AT THE SUN AND CLOUDS <3 It's Sylveon all over again D: I hate the sound effect they added in the trailer; I heard music on Get TV and it sounded AMAZING! Time to re-watch this trailer over and over again XD
I hope CoroCoro actually shows valuable information unlike the first CoroCoro after X & Y were announced. Hopefully we get a longer trailer with music and land after CoroCoro is officially shown. We should get a trailer in about 4 days with CoroCoro leaking within these 4 days 😀

People, Mega Evolution was DISCOVERED in the Kalos region. It is not EXCLUSIVE… otherwise only Kalos Pokemon would have Megas 😛

My guess is that Steven will be the answer to that. Being who he is, he somehow has connections and will be able to give the trainer the Mega Ring, granting them the ability to Mega Evolve in the game.

Hopefully! I really do hope they reveal a ton of stuff. But if it’s like the first issue of CoroCoro after X & Y’s announcement, then fans will be so disappointed. I really lost all of my want for these games. My first disappointment was that there isn’t going to be the Rayquaza cutscene from Emerald which I really was hoping to see in 3D 😐
It’ll happen eventually 😀 For now, we can cherish our hopeful thoughts of a GOOD Mega Swampert and additions. Oh, and Secret Bases.

3. In Ruby/Sapphire, Groudon/Kyogre were summoned outside of sootopolis and never battled each other. When one was summoned, the weather changed and the villain leader (Maxie/Archie) realized their wrongdoings
They were summoned in Aqua/Magma hideouts, weren’t they? Or Cave of Origin. Or did you battle them there? I don’t remember!!!!! ;~;
No it was where Magma/Aqua used the submarine to go to (that cave with the strength boulder puzzle). At the end the legendary was summoned, a cutscene played where the weather goes berserk, then you go to the cave of origin and capture it and the weather goes back to normal
Ohhhh. But still, Groudon should be on land somehow.

Guys, you do have to realize that pokemon get tv never reveals full blown trailers, they reveal tiny tiny bits of gameplay like they did in x and y. getting this much from a trailer n smash is amazing. Besides if corocoro AND this both dont show anything then the hype should be lost. Dont give up hope. We dreamed for remakes of hoenn, and now we got them but you lose all that hype for what? a small trailer? We got lots of time for reveals.
PS: its not a new gen so the leaks arent going to be as extensive and as much as the gen 6 corocoro’s so dont expect too mant leaks 😉

if one game were to take place in the future, and one in the past, then the environment would have changed somehow right? In both cut scenes it’s the same location, same environment; this means they probably will take place at the same time.
However, i remember sootopolis being made out of white rock, so unless whatever island that is in the background isnt sootopolis, then it changed colors. Which means both games could take place at a different time than R/S; unless it’s a graphical glitch or alteration for whatever reason…
its just a proto area not to be based off an actual location like the fields during x/y trailers

Personally, I disagree when he says there’s a high chance that the only new Megas will be Latios and Latias seeing as they’re already in the code for X and Y.
First, the boxart is pretty obvious something is going to happen to Groudon and Kyogre, be it a form change or Mega.
Second, to say a patch can’t simply be applied because not everyone might download it. When Instacheck was patched, I remember GameFreak shut down the PSS for anyone that didn’t update their game with the new patch. So, couldn’t they just do the same in this case to include new Megas? Make a new patch, and shut down the PSS for X and Y players until they update their game with the ORAS communications patch.
Otherwise if Etika’s right, then ORAS will indeed be very disappointing with a lack of new Megas.

Here’s my stance. The reveal of the game was SO sudden, that there had to be some announcement they were preparing for. We thought it was for Pokemon Get TV, which in a way it was, but I don’t think it was substantial enough to warrant the random reveal. So that is why I think we will get at least some screenshots in this CoroCoro.

First topic will be Mega Evolutions in ORAS!
I’m going to first discuss ones that have been “confirmed”.
Mega Latios and Latias will pretty much be a given in these
games. Their data is already in XY and most likely be released officially with
ORAS. The theory I have with how this will happen is after defeating the E4
like normal, the player wakes up and goes through the TV sequence like the
originals. They choose which of the duo they saw and can then catch them
afterwards. Once caught, I think the player will be able to go to Steven Stone
and show him the caught Legendary. Steven will be shocked by this, but knowing
your potential, he will expect it and have the Mega Stone for Latios and
Latias, which he will then give to the player.
As for Groudon and Kyogre, we have seen these new forms.
Whether it is Megas or a form change, it’s going to happen. My theory is that
the Red and Blue Orb from the original will be the key to these changes. Since,
in the originals, the wrong orb was used to awaken them, it had no effect on
them at all. The correct Orb was never used. I believe these will be the key to
unlocking said forms. Could these Orbs actually be the first Mega stones ever
introduced, but we just didn’t know it? Or is it like Giratina and just a form
change? Regardless, it’s going to happen, and I also believe Rayquaza may get
some treatment considering that the Jade Orb is also in existence.
Now, onto a theory I have as to how Megas will be presented
in Hoenn.
Mega Evolutions were said to be discovered in the Kalos
region, which explains why trainers could first do such a feat in Gen 6.
Lucario is said to be the first Pokémon to ever Mega evolve, so we know it’s
not region-exclusive, also considering how no Kalos Pokémon has a Mega (as of
yet). So, we know it’s possible for the other regions to Mega. Now, how will
this technology be brought over to Hoenn? Steven Stone (again). Steven is
without a doubt a powerful individual and must have connections throughout all
regions. I believe he will be the one who gives the trainer the Mega Ring. Now,
what about the Tower of Mastery? How will you be able to Mega evolve without “mastering
it”. Steven has an Aggron, so he himself must be able to Mega evolve it, right?
There most likely will be a segment in which he teaches the trainer to control
it and perhaps gives you your first Mega Stone (which will be mentioned in a
minute). This fills the gap between Kalos and Hoenn and the capabilities of
Mega evolving.
The final point of this topic will be Pokémon who get a new
Mega in this game. I have only focused on Gen 3 Pokémon because, well, ya know.
HURRNNNNN.
The Pokémon I believe that have the most realistic chance to
Mega evolve in ORAS are: Swampert, Sceptile, Ludicolo, Shiftry, Sableye,
Sharpedo, Camerupt, Flygon, Crawdaunt, and Milotic. I only chose 10 because
there’s already 26 Pokémon (minus Lati@s) that can already, so I didn’t want to
get too outrageous. Now, back to the point about Steven giving the trainer
their first Mega Stone; when Steven teaches the trainer how to use the Mega
Ring and gives them their first Mega Stone, it will be the stone of their
starter Pokémon! Swampertite, Sceptilite, or Blazikenite (ew).
Please understand these are my views and opinions and may not match up with yours (especially Hoenn Pokemon getting Megas), so please respect that 🙂

There are many ways of explaining/thinking about this truly brain bending riddle! It all boils down to the fact that the lawyers’s math is incorrect. They did NOT spend $9 • 3 + $2.

Another way to think about the answer to this riddle is to just pretend that the bellhop refunded $3 to the lawyers (rather than giving them $5 and receiving $2 back). If the lawyers get $3 back and each takes $1. They they spent exactly $27 dollars.

They’re are three free loading brothers living in a old man’s hut in a village
The old man is their father and can only let one brother stay but only the cleverest

You know what, guys?
Despite the disappointment of the day, I am still VERY excited about the games, and I believe that CoroCoro will make up for it. I feel like this is a good step that Gamefreak is taking, allowing us to speculate more rather than get more information, to make the game seem “newer,” or at least that’s how I see it. They are making things sound very climactic when really, these are just small teasers.
Either that or they are saving some of their energy for some even better reveals at E3, which is right around the corner.
Anyways, even watching today’s sneak peek gives me goosebumps just looking at these excellent graphics and cutscene-like portions that will probably blow us away.
Don’t forget that the games are still a whopping half-a-year away, so one little failed promise doesn’t mean the games will suck.
I think that we all just need to calm down, and we might need to take our minds away from the new games, to make the days shorter and the stress (heavy anticipation) shorter as well.
Look on the bright side. Mario Kart 8 is coming out in three weeks, which will, for those that have a Wii U, occupy you for one or two months before you 100% everything. For those that have a 3DS, SSB4 for the 3DS is coming out in the summer, taking another month or two of your time away. As long as you have something else to keep you busy, the release of these games will be SUPER quick. We just need to calm down a bit.
Anyways, I need to go prepare for Mother’s Day tomorrow, so I’ll probably be back tomorrow or whenever CoroCoro leaks. I hope you guys have a great rest of the weekend and that you have not lost hope from one mediocre trailer. There will be many more, mediocre and not, to come. This doesn’t mean the end. 😀

I’m super excited for the gameplay, storyline and other features, but I’m MOST excited for the music, (Ive always been really fascinated with remade music eg.hg/ss and reorchestrated/remixed pokemon themes online) and I’m also excited for how the overworld sprites are going to look and such. Honestly, I love how the cities are now 3d, but I think that the overworld x and y trainers were a bit odd, I prefered the bw2/w2 overworld sprites, but then that wouldn’t match with the 3d graphics :/ what do you guys think?
