The June issue of Japanese comic magazine CoroCoro (which is published in May) has begun leaking and the new Ruby and Sapphire remakes are featured.
Information
- The first scan simply introduces Groudon and Kyogre and the caption points out that they look different than the art on the packages
- Unknown whether more pages will surface
- Next month the magazine will run more information about the games

Mega-Torkoal, Fire/Steel, Ultimate Shield increases def every turn. BST is 570
Mega-Slaking, Weaken, decreases atk and def every turn. BST is 770
Mega-Altaria, Dragon/Flying, Nimbus increases speed every turn. BST is 590
Mega-Milotic, Water/Fairy, Sirenix allows the user to heal a little bit of it’s HP every-time it’s opponent uses a status move. BST is 640

Slow Start will render it useless.

Regigigas has similar attacking stats, more bulk, and access to confuse ray and thunderwave to waste off those first 5 turns, but it’s still pretty useless…
I still think Weaken will do little to render Slaking.
Regigass is NU cause of that. Most of the time it doesn’t stay around long enough to do anything. And 5 turns is a long time for quick battles.
But slaking is a TANK
Mega Slaking needs something that makes it useable but not OP. Which is pretty impossible. Unless they actually reduce his attack stat, and throw it into the useless special attack stat, then give it a different ability…

Especially M-Milotic and M-Altaria who can both take advantage of the HUGE boost.
I was thinking a special variant of fur coat would be good for altaria. Something like “cloud garud” and it halves special attack. Imagine that combed with ASSUALT vest 0-0

Yep. But this way its more useable. Of course it’s still a boost but it doesn’t scream broken in my opinion, unless i am overlooking something.
Walls such as Hippowdon and Slowbro can beat it, even if it runs special attacks.

Yeh, pretty much looks like that.
Kyogre saw Tropius’s and Swellows models in X/Y and realized all you have to do is hold fins/wings/whatever still in the air and you will fly/glide XD

You know I kinda hope they ditch the storyline from Ruby and Sapphire and just go with Emeralds. Emeralds was a lot more epic and better.
I have to agree. It makes more sense to involve both Groudon and Kyogre in the story, considering they are supposed to fight.
All past versions have had the exact same story except different legendaries so I really think it’d be best. The only thing I could see as a problem was that Rayquaza may overshadow Groudon and Kyogre since it flies in and stops the battle and then you go catch it. But they could possibly combine the storylines from R/S with Emeralds?

honestly.. i can see the first 3 things on that list actually happening.. they sound beliveble.. but i still take them with a gain of salt tho.
