The June issue of Japanese comic magazine CoroCoro (which is published in May) has begun leaking and the new Ruby and Sapphire remakes are featured.
Information
- The first scan simply introduces Groudon and Kyogre and the caption points out that they look different than the art on the packages
- Unknown whether more pages will surface
- Next month the magazine will run more information about the games

It just breaks my heart to see that Banette got a Mega Evolution rather than a new evolution. Duskull was the Ruby counterpart of Shuppet and Dusclops could evolve in to Dusknoir by trading with a Reaper Cloth. It feels kinda wrong for me for Banette to be left in the dust. They should’ve gave it a similar evolution method, but with a different item. If it were to evolve into a jester-like Pokémon then it would be a Ghost/Fairy type.

It would be amazing if the PCs got new designs. But given that the previous remakes didn’t, and customisation will likely be available, I don’t see them doing it tbh.
Agreed. if nothing more, they will refine the artwork to follow the more modern smoother appearance vs the Gen 3 rough feel. only the pokemon are fine in regards to this style, but while that picture is epic in its own right, i doubt anything drastic such as that will occur.

plus there arent many fire types available like water types IMO

I didn’t expect much from Get TV, but I did at least expect to see actual gameplay footage. Showing us 3 second custcenes of the legendaries wigging out was such a tease. Even the japanese dude next to Shoko was all ‘wtf that’s all we get :(?’

1. R/S to FR/LG
2. D/P to HG/SS
I keep wondering how trading from XY to ORAS will work. Will one be able to trade Gen IV – VI pokémon to ORAS in the very beginning? How will the Bank effect ORAS? What if one wants to trade a Feebas from XY to ORAS instead of catching it the hard way in Hoenn?

1.After beating the game and getting the nat dex; you couldn’t evolve any pokemon not in regional dex.
2.you could transfer from start; I think you could evolve pokemon that were not originally in the games too.
actually in fr/lg you had to do the psot game celio quest with the ruby and sapphire to trad eover with them

Guys, you can skip both Gyms 2 and 6 in Gen 3 until the E4. It’s REALLY hard with no flash or Fly, but you can do it. U say sometime we should have a gym skip challenge, where you have to skip 2 and 6 in either RSE or ORAS

You can get by without Flash. Without Fly however good luck travelling all over the place by foot.
Yeah, and there’s that one part where you have to go back to Slateport to do some business. Seems quicker to just beat it and get Fly.
IDK how, but I believe you. However, Game Freak might fix this shortcut though.
I’ve actually done this. I couldn’t beat Brawly, so I just skipped him. Lol.
Gamefreak fixed the gym bypass in HGSS, so they’ll probably do it now too.
