Pokémon has just announced that Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released in November 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS. Not much more is known. Below is what the official site posted in their announcement:
Announcing Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems! Prepare for an epic adventure exploring a world filled with Pokémon!
Pokémon fans first enjoyed Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Sapphire Version when it launched in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance. Now, a whole new generation of Pokémon fans will experience the dramatic storyline that unfolds in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
Look forward to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire when the games launch worldwide in November 2014!
These games will be released in November world wide as confirmed by the Japanese announcement. The Japanese mini-site is kind of cool, by the way.
<3 PJ
ps- Personally I cannot be more excited about these games. I don’t know what a heart attack feels like, but I think I had one when I saw these announced.
FEATURED DISCUSSION: Hidden Ability Trade Shop
Now for a new meme..
Sinnoh confirmed.
Lets break into Nintendo and look for ORAS details.
My dog works at gamefreak!
Get him to fetch some details XD
Stop trying to make Fetch happen. lmao just kidding 😛
????
Oh. You haven’t seen Mean Girls have you…. Then just ignore this comment XP
OMFG xD best comment evar.
Are you for Alpha Sapphire (The one that is actually fun) or Omega Ruby (The one that is boring and stupid)?
What the actual…
Ahahahaaha NO. they are both equally awesome
That is quite biased.
Nah, I prefer boring.
Personally, I like Delta Emerald better.
Or the one that will be exactlyy the same.
Bar an aesthetic box difference.
I’m going for both :3
I MIGHT get both. I’m going for sapphire first though.
They are pretty much exactly the same 😛
they’re basically the same game. -.-
I knw, I just prefer sapphire.
(refresh)
Omega Ruby because drought
What are people called in the Pokemon World?
Kantonese
Johtans
Hoenneans
Sinnohans
Unovans
Kalosians
?
I believe they are Hoenish
sinnoians
Jim bob.
No, Hoenns are Hoes.
Give this man a medal.
😀 Yassssss I win!
LIKE FOR OMEGA RUBY!!!
looks like I’ll go for Omega Ruby considering everyone else is getting sapphire.
Like for Alpha Sapphire! 😀
I’m getting both :3
Both versions have equal votes on the poll.
I’m probably getting Omega Ruby since I’m the only one who likes Groudon -.-
Groudon learns solarbeam. GG Kyogre
Pitiful special attack. Kyogre just laugh and Hydro Pumps to the face.
Kyogre learns ice beam and water moves and is specially bulky, GG groudon
Thats why i’ll not use Solarbeam and just use EARTHQUAKE
Kyogre’s Physical Defense is laughable and can do a good chunk of damage
That’s why they are equally good
They have the exact same stats just
Kyogre Special
Groudon Physical
All that matters is who’s sent last on the field
Or how you use them xD
That too
Then…
I got nothin.
lol kyogre leanrs every water and ice attack ever gg groudon 😉
And Groudon is slower than Kyogre, so Drought ends up affecting the field.
Although why don’t we just agree to disagree on this >.>
no.
I agree to agree.
Well I can agree to lap dance if it quiets you 😉
That’s my Russian stripper! 😀
rain dance boi
Who puts Rain Dance on a Kyogre
Someone who’s facing a groudon.
Why can’t you just Choice Specs the shit out of Groudon. Or switch out and switch back in.
this b 1v1 boi 😉
i’m not sure if this is worth arguing about
No, ders TC, Licki, Noivs, I love both :D, etc.
What about me
Like if you’re getting both !
I can’t choose…
I never played RSE, so I have no opinion toward them.
Ummm you never played them?
If you have, you would love them WAAAAYY more.
they are truly beautiful life changing games.
I purposely waited for this moment, so the Hoenn region will be a new experience for me. 🙂
Well be ready to take in the magic and beauty of Hoenn! 😀
Or it could be a complete disappointment. I hope not.
You don’t have to rub it in. Even if it is true.
Get both… Orrrrr okay. Pick a number. 1 or 2.
just pick one, you can’t choose wrong.
I choose…. potato!
…
Damn it! You lied to me!
You had one job, Igneous! ONE JOB! And you messed it all up!!!!
Either one will suffice.
Wow, a lot of people seem torn over which game to get. Im getting Sapphire because my brother is getting Ruby, and I gotta make sure he’s happy. I’m neutral, since I’ve preferred emerald over both
For those of you that are fans of Kyogre, i was scrolling through deviantart and found that one of my (People i’ve met in real life) friends made this :

That fin on the body seems off center… should it be on the line that connects to the circle? 😮
Idunno o_o
I love it.
I’m all for Groudon though
I’m getting both! 😀
It’s pretty 🙂
deja vu… I feel like we’ve done this thing before.
7:30 to 8:30 Japan Time? Too lazy to calculate for PST 😛
Ummm 5:30 Central, so calculate there.
That would be 4:30, I think…guess I’ll be leaving Ultimate Frisbee early!
Ooh I like Ultimate 😀
CST Mater race
Calculate it for me 😉
Well. 14 hour difference for CST. So, if you know the diff between PST and CST. You are gold. I’m assuming it will be around 3 PM Saturday. It’s on at 5:30 PM Saturday in Illinois.
OH, Saturday. I thought it was Friday XD
I did too. NLque told me it was going to be on saturday in the US. It airs sunday in japan.
In the past 24 hours I have seen some amazing artwork.
Thank you to all the talented artists out there for keeping entertained as we await news. You have my sincere appreciation.

Okay 😀
So whoever’s in, go to chat! 😀
Hey guys. Anything I missed concerning ORAS?
Nm. I think either new Pkmn or Megas were confirmed to be INTRODUCED, but not which ones.
WHAT?
“The Japanese arm of The Pokémon Company sent out an e-mail to all Daisuki Club members which ends up pointing out the differences to Groudon & Kyogre on the box-art, stating that they’re showcasing “never before seen Pokémon”, the same terminology they used for Black & White Kyurem, as well as Mega Mewtwo Y upon their reveal, indicating that they are more than stylised artwork of the Pokémon. We’ll bring more on this as it comes” -Serebii
Sweet. I have a hunch that we will see more than just new Mega Evolutions.
By that, it basically confirmed that those Pokemon on the covers are new forms / megas. We are definitely getting new Mega Evolutions. Someone at Gamefreak said something about there being less water routes according to TamashiiHiroka. (Pokemon Youtuber) Maybe we can get some new islands with new pokemon or a new eeveelution !
Thought so. Idk.

Totally.
(Nah, I posted this earlier as a prank. Someone made this as part of a project.)
O.O
Seems legit.
At least we have some sort of idea as to what Brendan can look like :3
the grass looks awesome! 😀
It looked odd to me .-.
I remember seeing this project on Deviantart! The guy is still working on it! 🙂
He isn’t. He said he wasn’t going to continue because of the announcement of the remakes D:
Dang. I would have liked to see this project complete!
Get TV is coming out Saturday at 7:30 JST, right?
no. Sunday 7:30 Am JST.
Sunday in the US?
Saturday in the US ._. Japan is 14 hours ahead of us (CST)
Sorry about that.
For two straight hours I was staring at a computer screen doing doing nothing but schoolwork, so I may not be functioning as needed. 🙂
Ummmm 4:30 PM Sat I think… I’m not sure tho.
Saturday in the US! I need to figure out what time it is again in Australia!
You’re an hour ahead of japan. (If you live near melbourne or are in the same time zone)
I messed up my message. I’m not in Australia for now! Eastern Coast time if I remember is usually 6:00-7:00 PM around there!
It’s been a very stressful and busy week with all the tests, but I look forward to the weekend, seeing how we could possibly get a glimpse into what the ORAS games can do.
I’m imaging how the game would look! :] I just want to see the graphics sooooo bad!
